terrible customer service- they looked at my boyfriend like HE was the one working there. the only person that was willing to step out behind the counter and give us direction had earbuds in, just to not even even help us. all the workers were cold and rude.

Tonight 11/13/24 when I went in 2 men were at register. One on his cell ph, the other did not acknowledge me.
I spoke first, " hi can you tell me where to find..." theolder, ruder man pointed to another man.
I asked him about a product, and he did get me to what I needed.
Upon leaving, I asked if I could use restroom. The you man who checked me out said " no washrooms".
It was only then that the very unfriendly, old guy began to speak..." yeah no bathrooms". I cut him off saying the younger man had already informed me of this ridiculous "law".
I worked at an Ace for 19 years! This place does NOT inbody the " helpful hardware place" AT ALL!
The ONLY reason you got 2 stars was due to the 3rd employee who helped me get my item.

Wonderful Customer Service: I actually just had a packaged delivered here and it arrived way faster than anticipated. I spoke with a friendly person on the phone and explained my situation that I wouldn't be in Seaside for another week. They were accommodating and I will gladly find something to purchase here even though I am just picking up a package. Thank you again and looking forward to being your customer.

Very good selection in store, as a contractor most of my life I've probably been in hundreds of hardware stores and dealt with many less than friendly assosiates.
However, Darryl is by far one of the most professional and helpful associates I've had the pleasure of doing business with.

Maybe move a few things away from the registers so people can see where the line is? I won't be back, left the few things I was going to buy and walked out. It's a bit of a drive to home Depot but well worth it.

I was going to buy something on clearance, a young man at the register quoted me a price as there was no price tag. I gathered a few more items and by then another man was in his place. I asked him to please contact the other guy so I got the price he quoted, but he said he could sell it to me for 29.99 not the 28.00 I had been quoted and when I asked him about the other price he repeated himself more firmly. I said they could keep the item and proceeded to check out. In the meantime I forgot two items on the floor and when I realized it I mentioned it to him, he rolled his eyes looking at me and said OF COURSE.
I informed him that he was unprofessional and unpleasant and I didn't want them after all.
I don't think I will have any reason to go there while he's working there. He was so rude, so very rude
