This place has always been shady, but they used to have standards. Not any more. Their prices have wildly increased and as a woman, I don't feel safe going there alone any longer. Not that I'd want to anyway since they seem to no longer have set hours.

Short Stop Market shares its theme with the nearby Ballpark Sports Bar.

I've been here many times, but only seen one person working. He's friendly and pleasant. It's a common stop for people to purchase lotto tickets and play Pokemon Go. I've seen the USPS carrier stop here to play before.

No complaints, the store is clean, if not cluttered by products for sale

Husband and I stopped in here to buy a couple drinks before the Silicon Valley BBQ competition. We weren't sure where we could get drinks at the festival or how much they would be, so we planned ahead!

As we walked inside the store, I saw a car backing up and it smashed into the water machine out front. I alerted the man working at the counter and he inspected the machine but it was undamaged. He was really nice about it and was nice to the driver.

We bought a Sunkist and a Figi water ($3). The Sunkist was the size just bigger than the 20oz, and it was almost flat. Probably not this store's fault, but it was kind of gross. Store was clean inside though and had lots of snacks, drinks, and even a section with alcohol.
