The exterior was very nice and the hotel was well located near downtown Silverton. The room itself was a disappointment. Our room was in need of updating/upgrading and just simple maintenance. The wall clock didn’t work, a lightbulb in the bathroom was burned out, the hot water was just a trickle (though the cold water flowed well), the smart TV was difficult to operate with long delays before the next channel appeared when the channel was changed, at times the TV picture and sound were 10 or more seconds out of sync, the finish on the nightstand was old and peeling, the flooring was old and dirty looking ceramic tile. I would not recommend this hotel unless I had heard they had undergone renovations.

We have stayed here several times and are once again having a great experience. The room was well-maintained, and the location is outstanding. I was checked in by the owner who was gracious, kind, and welcoming. We have family in Silverton and will be back again.

Very cozy and clean room complete with a microwave, sink, refrigerator, and an included a smart TV (to watch all of our Netflix, Hulu, and Max programs), which we felt gave it a homely touch. Our king size bed was the perfect way to end our nights with loads of space, comfy clean sheets, and fluffy pillows to boot. Bathroom and shower were spotless, as was the entire room. If you are not made aware of the required need to schedule housekeeping and the limited front desk hours, this may be off putting to some, but this is a traditional inn, not a holiday inn or motel 6; and to us, this gave it a private and quiet atmosphere, which made for the perfect get away. The staff helped us fix our wifi and tv very promptly and were super friendly and accommodating of our needs. The atmosphere was also very charming and made for a very cozy experience overall. Would recommend to anyone who needs a safe quiet place to stay but doesn’t plan on spending their entire stay at the hotel as it offers the most basic needs, but does it very well. Thanks SIS!

Nice stay, except no one swept our room. I didn't realize how dirty the floors were until I got out of the shower and walked from the bathroom to the bed. I was sitting on the bed and noticed that my feet were brown on the bottom, and I noticed some black stuff on the bed, and realized that it was from the floor and now was on the bed, because I didn't realize how dirty the floors were. Pretty gross. The rest of the experience was nice, but it's disgusting that no one cleaned our room before we arrived.

I cancelled a room last month bc of snow and another reservation was made without my consent and now theres a weird message about them being closed. Suspicious behavior for a business

Best thing going for this motel is the location, if you plan to spend time in the old downtown area. Front desk assistance is virtually nonexistent. We could not get anything on the TV and calls for assistance went to voicemail and were returned when we were out of the room. The bed was comfortable. The fact that the coffee machine was something you might find in a motel 6 left one feeling like there should have been something better or coffee available in the registration area for the price. Overall the price wasn’t worth the convenience to downtown.

This is a fantastic hotel for what it is. It's old enough to have some character (fire sprinkler pipes below the ceiling, real paintings hanging on the walls) but still recently remodeled and well maintained. I like that the mattress was firm and our room had a real kitchenette. The restaurant and lounge looks fantastic but we were there in the off season so it was closed on Sundays. Guess we'll have to go back, haha!
