Quite remote. A welcome oasis when one finds themselves needing gas or a restroom. A pleasant surprise when one goes inside. Super friendly, clean facilities and dynamite homemade baked goods. Not just for emergency stops, a great place to stop and have a snack.

I stop here every trip out to the panhandle. The name is funny and the gas station is worth a stop for gas and a picture. The bathroom was very welcome at this point in the trip.

Passing through during a road trip... we HAD to make a pit stop here---Slapout, Oklahoma! Restrooms are clean; you can get coffee, cappucino, even order freshly cooked food from the menu to stay and eat or take to go. We didn't try the food, but the coffee was great and I love my T-shirt! They also sell baseball caps and drawstring bags for bragging rights, too.

Slapout was at the right place and right time when one of my kids was having a bathroom EMERGENCY on the way to Black Mesa. I was also pleasantly surprised with how good and inexpensive ($.50) the coffee was. The cashier couldn't take a credit card for such a small amount so she offered to let me have it for free, but I got some change out of the car because of how grateful I was.

The store was also very clean, the people working were friendly, and they had a decent variety of goods for sale for being so remote. They even have a pretty robust menu of made-to-order items like burgers, fries, and breakfast burritos.

I was looking forward to stopping by again on the way home to try one of their burgers, but was disappointed to find they are closed on Sunday. I'll catch them next time though!

This will definitely be on my itinerary the next time I'm driving through the panhandle.

Crazy little convenience store and filling station which is pretty much the center of all culture in the thriving metropolis that is slapout. Exceedingly clean place, friendly staff and cool souvenier shirts so you can tell all your friends about slapout.

This place is kind of a special and cool stop on your route! The name and sign of population 8 is great enough but when you’re actually inside and talking to the super friendly and fun staff, getting any of the larger-than-expected menu items or stocking up on the well priced drinks and candy, you’ll appreciate that you stopped in! Everyone was so friendly and a picture to say you stopped in Slapout is pretty worth it.

Water and trash in there diesel!!!!! Never had a water in diesel light come on in my 6 year old truck. Came on a hour down the road heading east after filling up here with a full tank of diesel. Had to drain fuel tank and change both filters.
