Good for quick grab and go, They really need to improve this area. It was more like a grocery/convience store. No fresh fruit bowls, had fake fowers, no plants. Just keep going to you get to Walmart, or Publix

We come up here to do our grocery shopping once a month. We live in Bartow FL and we have to travel to do our shopping. Food is so much better and cheaper. I shopped at Piggly wiggly when I lived in Charleston SC but since I've moved to FL and the part of the state I'm from they do not have Piggly wiggly I happened to find you by mistake but I sure am glad that I did.

Piggly Wiggly is certainly one of two cheap grocery stores in town, and considering the food4less being way out on North Monroe I would have to add Piggly Wiggly as the cheapest accessible grocery store in town to those of us who live closer to downtown or on the southside.
Although spending less money for food these days is always a good thing I find myself choosing Winn-Dixie or Publix more than I choose Piggly Wiggly. Not only because Winn Dixie and Publix are close to me, but for the sure fact that Piggly Wiggly does not have good customer service. Sometimes it is downright aweful.
Getting a greeting or a thank you is very rare. Cashing checks, sending/receiving money, and access to the lottery is not available.
I wouldn't encourage showing up 15 before they close because you're going to feel hounded with announcements, watchful eyes, snickers, and a sure way to recognize the thug in some of the younger men that work there.
I personally don't like that type of work ethic, or lack of it, around me because it sours my day.
If customer service is this bad it makes me question their standards in the meat section, and I have actually bought a whole chicken, got it home , and started to prepare cooking it only to find out it was no good. I called the store and the manager said to bring it back for replacement or refund, and when I did that right away the manager was not so very nice about it, and no apology came with it at all.

I honestly love this spot there is a pawn shop AutoZone liquor store and a Piggly Wiggly and a few other stores if you're interested but really there's music going and different events here definitely worth checking out
