They have a wide variety of housewares, men's and women's clothing, books, and a few valuable pieces. I thought the prices were fair, especially since the money goes to a good cause. seems like the kind of place where you could find that random perfect piece you’ve been looking for at a pretty good price. The staff was friendly with everyone who came in. Definitely a small town feel.

Staff are great. Good selection.
But this place is so hard to navigate. Just getting in the door is hard (we had a wheelchair) because they have things packed behind the door so it won't swing open all the way.

The path through the store was full of items they had on display. Just right in the walkway. It was embaressing to have to try and clear items and get my friend through the store. I'm worried someone is going to trip and fall.

We even hears someone else knock down some items while we were there.

Love this shop, good people, a good mission, but it needs to be safer to navigate.

In a cute little shopping strip next to the river. This store is much larger than it looks and jam packed with a large variety of stuff. Super nice people. It was fun to peruse.

I used to love coming here, but over the past year or so whoever is pricing things has gone whacko! Prices are WAYYY to high and there really aren’t good deals any longer. Prices are almost as high as getting something new at the box-store. I still donate things because I support their ‘mission’. Also, it’s way too bad they aren’t open on weekends to get more customers flowing through (which would allow them to increase money coming in to support their mission). The “art” print is priced at $150 (an extra zero on there?), the lamp is $45 (nice, but should be maybe 15$), the vase is $20 at a for-profit shop in Astoria, and the dishes seem like they deserve to be about 50cents (or maybe a buck, but that still seems too high). Also, I didn’t take a pic of the mirror by the check-out but a brand new one is about $40 so asking $40 in your shop seems too high. Who knows if that beer sign is meant to be $25 or 25cents, but since there’s no ‘cents’ symbol I assume it’s intended to be $25 which would be more than the brewery itself (probably) charges. “A little bit of something is much better than a lot of nothing” seems like it would be a better pricing model for a non-profit shop to follow.

Yesterday, 1/30/25 appx. 12 noon. I was treated so rudely by Marti. Too long a story to post here, but I will really reconsider every giving my money to this shop again. I’d like to know who to write a letter to.

I absolutely love ❤️ the Spay and Neuter Thrift Shop!! This is my first go to for both donating my quality items and for shopping when I'm in need of something. In all likelihood, whatever I'm searching for I'll find it in their store AND I believe their items are priced reasonably unlike Goodwill. I also appreciate their cause to support pets in getting spayed and neutered. In these unfortunate times where across our Nation tens of thousands of animals are being euthanized due to overcrowding in shelters, it is even more crucial to support businesses that support our Community and make an important impact. Thank you Volunteers!!!

I love this little shop, and have found some great treasures and clothes here. I just wish they were open later than 2 pm. Even 3 would be better. I have been told twice while browsing that they were closing and then waited in a long slow line to pay, with no room to social distance. They need to figure out a better set up at their cash register. Not very organized at all. I do realize that it is a very difficult time right now, so I am very understanding about their hrs and set-up, and hope they can get back to more normal hrs soon.
