This is a pretty decent bodega with the usual people always working. They have a good variety of cold beer, albeit expensive like everything else there. There's lottery, a deli, and lots of home goods.

Edit: Went back a 2nd time and found prices on some things. The person running the register was also friendlier so I changed the review from 2 to 4 stars.

Original: Convenient location and decent selection, but prices are unclear and staff isn’t friendly.

The girl that makes the sandwiches is amazing and very pleasant. She makes great sandwiches. That’s about the only good thing about this place. Every other worker is extremely rude. I just have to repeat EVERY OTHER WORKER IS EXTREMELY RUDE! The owners of this place really need to restaff and or retrain there workers on basic customer service. I visit regularly because it is close to work and each experience has been negative. The only reason I come back is because of the girl who makes the sandwiches. She needs a raise, employee of the month and promotion. The rest should be fired. I’m very certain a physical altercation will occur soon if it hasn’t already if the attitudes of these workers do not change. The 1 star is me being very generous.

DOUBLE CHECK THE PRICES! Very rude staff. 21 negative written reviews out of 43 that are 2 stars or less and mention multiple price issues and staff issues. This is the second time I've had a bad experience there. Today at the register, the worker rang me up and I asked why the item was more expensive than what is shown on the price tag. He ignored my question, silently took the item back, handed me back my credit card and went back to his phone conversation.

In this economy, I will take my business somewhere that they smile and welcome you as a patron. Just read all their negative reviews for the evidence. There are much better spots in the neighborhood where they smile and appreciate your business, don't talk on the phone and ignore you while ringing you up, as well as have honesty and consistency in their prices.

They treat their customers like dirt. I read a few of the other reviews and agree that they are rude, crooks and racist. My last experience going there was awful. The man behind the counter, maybe an owner, can't even look at you in the eye. Doesn't say thank you and then he treated a homeless man like he was an animal. I stopped going there a long time ago. Avoid this place. Sad that a place of business can be so unfriendly.
