Camping at nearby campsite and first time in Death Valley having this little town’s store nearby (also the other amenities they have on ground) has been so welcoming and plain fantastic. However our trip was cut short because I of the sudden sandstorm, I wanna thank the till worker for the 7am strong coffee chat and great vibes. Tremendous trip!

Was here 4 years. Was one of the nice shops in the area. This place is currently having everything 70% off except the food, drinks, and sundried. Looks like they will be closing soon. There were plenty of stickers, XL and XXL shirts, magnets, and patches for sale.

Great last stop for gas and souvenirs. It’s a cute store w/ lots of supplies you might need during the trip. Came here after visiting the sand dunes and mosaic canyon, I was actually excited to find a place like this in Death Valley. (You know there aren’t many convenient store options though) It’s conveniently located across from the Stovepipe wells village hotel. You can’t miss it!

3/4th of the store is overpriced souvenirs, so it's entertaining to sit in their rocking chairs out front and listen to disappointed customers coming out expecting a grocery store. They do have a good soda pop selection and a reasonably priced self-serve soda fountain. Four stars are for the free internet and rocking chairs out front.

This is the only gas station which is closest to the death valley, there is a restaurant and other aminities here too including the RV registration. And also the park ranger booth to pay for the park entrance. The entrance fee is like 30.

More of a tourist stop for souvenirs than a general store. The store offered little that you would expect in terms of food, refreshments or camping gear, but had an abundance of keychains and other keepsake items.
I guess if you're looking for a T-shirt it's a good place to stop.

Stovepipe Wells General Store is an important shop that everyone seem to make when passing through the village during drives through Death Valley National Park. Opening hours are 7am to 10pm.

This is a country store where you will find gift and souvenirs, a wide range of snack foods and drinks, bathrooms and petrol. The shop is clean but busy with tourists. The outside is decorated with historic wagons and traditional range style fencing.

We stopped here a couple times during our recent visit to Death Valley. Petrol prices were better than what we found at Furnace Creek. The large assortment of drink and snack options was also nice to find.

Parking at the General Store was ok when we passed by but this could be an issue during busier times, especially if there are tour busses here. You can park along the road or across the street at/near the hotel and Gold Nugget Gift Shop if needed.

I like these small town general stores. This one was just as good with lots of fun things to look at. I bought some Death Valley souvenirs, along with some snacks.
