This is a convenient location for locals being centrally located in town. I was so happy when he added the chicken to his operation. The chicken and sides are really good it is hard to walk inside and smell the chicken without wanting to leave with some. It is usually cooked fresh when ordered but even if it is already prepared I have never received it when it wasn't fresh. The chicken is great and you have to try the biscuits they are so good. The owner can be a little unpredictable as far as his moods sometimes he is friendly other times he is on the edge of downright rude.I have also been overcharged there once or twice. After I left I would think it wasn't right and went over the costs in my head and realized I was over charged at times his prices aren't consistent. Seems as though he is rounding up and he seems to do this when he is in one of his moods. However I still shop there the prices are reasonable for a convenient store. He has a great inventory and of course the chicken is great as well as the shop is exceptionally clean. I am used to his moody personality but he did lose a whole star because of this, it is understandable to have your good and bad days, but he seems to have one to many and at times he has been so rude it was hurtful.
