I recently had the pleasure of visiting Sweet Melissa's Ice Cream Shop in Nokomis, Florida, and it was an absolute delight! Even though the interior of the store is rather plain, you are quickly compensated by the incredibly delicious selection of ice cream flavors and the warm hospitality of the staff. The atmosphere is relaxed and the real star here is of course the ice cream - simply heavenly! Creamy, fresh and in so many delicious flavors that it's hard to choose. But don't worry, the friendly staff are happy to help you choose and are super helpful and friendly. An all-round wonderful place to treat yourself to a sweet break - I can only recommend Sweet Melissa's! 🍦🍦🍦🍦🍦

I wish Sweet Melissa's offered flights of ice cream. It's too hard to pick just one! I had Kaluah Chip and my husband had Praline Pecan. Both of us had our ice cream in a waffle bowl. Both were excellent!

Great. All around great.

On vacation and wanted ice cream. Was in the area so gave it a try. The variety will have you staring and asking questions, still unable to choose.

Just pick something. We had three flavors and all were good. Hoping to return again before going home.

Also if 1 scoop seems expensive just know they are giant scoops. You won't be disappointed

The ice cream and milk shakes here are absolutely amazing! The service is great as well. Super friendly staff. Nice rocking chairs outside to sit in and relax and enjoy your tasty treat. Conveniently located near Nikomis Beach. Definitely worth checking out if you live in the area or are visiting.

This is the cutest ice cream shop with the BEST ice cream flavors. I had the gator tracks and midnight espresso one day and that was so good I went back and got the snickers and the kahlua crunch the following day! Charming owners! You’ll love this place!
