This place is awesome! Found a little sign advertising it while in the Aloha area and ended up following it because I love visiting retro game stores. I admit, the place looked a bit strange on the outside as it appears to be a house, but the inside actually has a great selection of video games and collectibles for surprisingly low prices. Service is nice and helpful, willing to answer questions, and you can tell that the owner really cares about hobby things like what's offered here. This is definitely a place to which I will be coming back, and I'll be spreading the word about how cool it is. The epitome of a hidden gem for sure.

Great, little shop with a strong selection and friendly owners. Kinda feels like you're at a garage sale since it's basically a home, cat included. The inventory was equal parts games and toys. Lots of PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo games. Plenty of nice condition consoles, too. Prices were very fair and they even had a fair amount of accessories. Parking can be kinda limited, but it's worth a stop anyways!

Seriously awesome place for a host of reasons!

Their selection and pricing:
Honestly, their selection is one of the widest I've seen! Not just in a brick-and-mortar store, but online as well. For a place without a huge physical footprint, their inventory is MASSIVE. If you enjoy retro gaming at all, I can't recommend a drive out their way highly enough! Looking for a hard-to-find game for a discontinued console or the console itself? START HERE (you'll be glad you did, they're super reasonable!).

Honesty and Integrity:
Some of you may be asking, "Steve, you live a hot minute from Aloha—what dragged you out there?"

My saga begins with some ****er who broke into my car over the holidays and stole my Playdate console and my passport. I'd reported the stolen console to Playdate's manufacturer, and they alerted me when someone tried to reset the system. Despite writing back to the purchaser(s) of my console many times, they never heard back.

UNTIL SOMEONE SOLD IT TO TAPPER'S.
I reached out to Tapper's, who had already been alerted that it was stolen, and they were INCREDIBLY cool about giving it back. I asked how much they'd paid for it, and they responded with, "It's ok, just make sure to let everyone you know that we don't trade in stolen merchandise." (A stance for which I, for one, thank them!)

That said, incredibly cool people, a super well-stocked shop, and legit the kind of business that deserves every gamer's support. If not just for a visit, it really is an incredibly cool place!

Easily the best game shopping experience I’ve had in a long while. There’s so much to look at and the selection is great, the prices are very reasonable, the owners are kind and helpful, my boyfriend and I will be back, for sure! Can’t recommend Tapper’s enough, happy to support them!

As a 90s kid, coming across this shop gave me all the feels. These folks have a wide range of retro gaming, toys, collectibles, and especially knowledge to share with the community. Worth the drive, you're bound to find at least one treasure to take home with you.

I just sold some games to this nice gentleman. He gave me a decent amount of $ for the games I sold him.

I perused the store as he was going through the games and saw some really cool stuff! New and retro video games, guide books, Japanese games, a lot of plushies, retro toys, super detailed sci-fi and fantasy action figures etc,etc,etc...

When I'm ready to buy a new game or two, I'm going here. Cool place. 😎

My wife and I flew out to the Portland area at the beginning of August to visit our daughter and granddaughter. She took us to Tapper's and I picked up a couple ATARI 5200 carts at decent prices. We met the owner and his siamese cat. Both were quite friendly and we enjoyed our time there. Definitely go if you are in the area.
