The people working the floor here know their stuff! Definitely bought a Tesla my first time stopping in for a test drive because I was totally convinced. Jen helped us with our purchase and even checked up on us throughout. Absolutely phenomenal. The car buying experience really couldn’t have been easier. The fact that I could’ve done it at home and ordered it like an Amazon package was mind blowing. We liked the ability to go in store though and have our (many) questions answered.

I docked the stars only for the car servicing department. They get the job done in the most bare minimum way, and sometimes incorrectly. But other than that, love this dealership and will most likely be upgrading ours soon!

During the month I waited for my appointment, I felt apprehension to visit the service center due to some less than stellar reviews. So, when my day arrived, I showed up to my appointment and went inside. The first staff member I came across was Natalie, who is very knowledgeable regarding automotive issues. Since there were no loaners, I chose to remain at the service center waiting for my car. One of the mechanics spoke to me about the issue and explained that the upper front control arms along with the lateral lower front links had to be replaced. My car is only six years old with 28,000 miles so I was surprised to hear the bad news but regardless, I placed my trust in the staff and to make a long story short- surprise- the staff went above and beyond to repair my car the same day and were so kind to me. I have always believed that when you are nice and friendly to people, karma makes sure you receive kindness in return. A heartfelt THANK YOU to Natalie, Miguel and Ismael, consummate professionals that are an asset to the Tesla Service Center in Tampa, Florida. Go with a positive attitude and rest assured that you will receive the BEST care for your car! After a few hours, my beloved Model 3 was ready to be driven away. Tampa Tesla service Center deserves five stars across the board because every staff member I encountered and spoke to was courteous, friendly and a delight. Two thumbs way up! First of all, I want to say the 2 stars is not towards their customer service. The people there were extremely friendly and tried to be as helpful as possible. If it wasn't for them, it would've been a one star review. The review is related to the service center.
I had a trunk misalignment issue, which a mobile tech could not repair, so he scheduled me an appointment. Took my car to the shop, they provided me a free loaner. The repair took almost 2 weeks. During the trunk repair, they cracked my roof, so they had to replace the roof. Once I finally got my car back, It made a loud rattling noise, at any speed. According to the repair summary, they said they road tested it, which I don't think is true because they would've heard the rattling. When I got home, I noticed the trunk plastic trim was not properly installed and was warped. I took it back the same day and they fixed the rattling noise, which was caused by loose bolts they didn't tighten. They had to order new part for the plastic trim that was misaligned. The next day, I noticed the roof was not properly sealed, there was a noticeable curve due to the amount of sealant they put on to adhere the roof to the body, so now I have to take it back again and deal with the service center. I was also charged for the repair, which the service tech told me it was all covered under warranty. However, this was addressed and they took care of the bill. But the service center quality has been underwhelming to say the least.

This was my first experience at this location and honestly I'm impressed. Despite having a some issues with Tesla in the past, CJ and Natalie took very good care of me, got me out quick, and gave me a nice loaner car to use. When I came back to pick up my Model Y, a nice young man named Christian walked me to my car and answered a few of the questions I had about maintaining my Tesla. This store appears to be a busy one, so there may be a wait, but to the service staff I give 5 stars! This is the only location I'll go to now.

Don't bother coming to this service center, that's what their employees want, they can't handle the volume and take days to fix issues that should be fixed in hours. Do you still want to persist? Fine, wait 3 months for an appointment while your car falls apart. Service day comes and you expect a loaner or Uber credits? Be ready to use your own two feet to get home. Regarding the service itself, check your car over 3 times before you leave the parking lot and don't be surprised if it's worse than when you left it there, service is the biggest downside to owning this car and I expect my next one NOT to be a Tesla!

My experience with this Tesla dealership has been deeply disappointing. I purchased a new Model 3 with the promise that 90% of service would be completed at my home—a critical factor given my distance from the dealership. Instead, I’ve endured relentless issues: squeaky doors requiring full replacements, a speaker shorting against the frame (multiple visits due to incorrect parts), and ongoing interior quality concerns. Even technicians acknowledged the car’s cheap components.

The service team’s unprofessionalism is staggering. Staff are dismissive, routinely hanging up or arguing instead of resolving issues. **Technicians privately admitted that certain employees, including the general manager, are notoriously difficult to work with**—exemplified when he told me to “have a bad day.” My final repair was the last straw: After scheduling a mobile visit (confirmed by a technician as feasible), **the general manager overruled the plan, demanding I waste a day bringing the car to the dealership**. This felt like a petty power move, prioritizing his ego over customer convenience.

**Tesla’s service is awful**, marred by misinformation, incompetence (four failed repair attempts due to wrong/bad parts), and zero accountability. Build quality is subpar, and customer respect is nonexistent. Sales declines in Europe—and likely here—are unsurprising.

Save your money. Choose an established brand that values its customers and delivers reliable service. Avoid this dealership and Tesla entirely if you expect professionalism or quality.

The service side of Tesla, in Tampa, has come a LONG way. A few years ago, it wasn't great. However, I recently had my Model S in for service and the experience was fantastic! Greeted when I dropped it off, the Service Advisor Tyler, was tremendously helpful, I got my loaner and was out the door. First rate experience!
I'm so glad Tesla focused more on improving the service side as it has certainly shown.
