Room was spacious, comfortable, and clean.
The front desk clerk was very sweet and professional. Even when things were really busy, she was composed and helpful!
Even the hallways were well done with beautiful lighting and solid floors! The hallway was reasonably sized and the doors were what I would have expected in an apartment building!
The couch in the room was super comfortable and an easy place for us to sit and visit with each other! Would definitely visit again!
Regarding the room, the only thing that was a little off is that the coffee pot and lamp were unplugged with the cords hanging behind their respective wet bar so that you could see the cords dangling when you first opened the door. I assume it was an oversight, but wanted to mention as children and pets are welcome in this this facility.
They also have a robot assisted delivery device where if you order extra tiles it will deliver it right outside your door! Pretty cool concept but we did not take advantage of it while there.
We only stayed one night, the only concern I really have is that the parking is open where anyone from the public could get into the garage. Since we have a pretty nice car I was concerned as I did not see cameras mounted in the garage. Our car ended up being fine overnight, and it was nice to have covered parking!

I’ve seen a lot in my travels, but this sets a new low. The Anza Hotel – a so-called 4-star property that knows neither class nor quality. If you book a room here, you’re not booking accommodation – you’re booking ignorance and deception.

Here are the facts, and yes, they are as damning as they sound:
• Fresh air? Not here. Windows that don’t open, a broken air conditioning system – my room was a suffocating nightmare. I paid for comfort, not headaches.
• Room condition? Miserable. Broken furniture, worn-out fixtures, and an overall appearance that barely qualifies for a 2-star motel. Photos attached show just how bad it was.
• Service? Non-existent. Room service here means: do it yourself. And don’t expect any support. I tried contacting the front desk multiple times – no one answered. I was left completely on my own.
• Pure deception: I booked this room because the images on your website showed a proper desk. As a business traveler, I need a workspace. What I got instead was a round dining table, which is a disaster for my back. The explanation? “The photos are outdated.” Translation: deliberate misrepresentation.

As a manager of international artists performing around the globe, I travel frequently and depend on an environment that allows me to work efficiently and host guests professionally. In this case, not only was it impossible to get my work done properly, but I couldn’t even consider inviting guests into a room in such poor condition.

And the best part? When I reported these issues immediately to Booking.com, I was referred to the hotel. And what did the hotel management do? Absolutely nothing. No response to my email. No call. No apology. It’s one thing to make mistakes. Ignoring a guest’s concerns entirely? That’s unprofessional, irresponsible, and outright disrespectful.

I ended my stay early and moved to another hotel – one that actually understands what service means. For anyone considering staying here: don’t. Unless you enjoy deception, ignorance, and complete incompetence.

The Anza Hotel didn’t just waste my time – it destroyed any hope of a pleasant experience. In my line of work, we call that “losing the client.” And believe me, you’ve lost this one. Forever.

I selected the premium King Room, which offered ample space, including a sofa bed, mini-refrigerator, and coffee station. However, significant vehicular traffic and elevated noise levels were present in the immediate vicinity of the hotel. The pet-friendly policy resulted in a higher-than-average number of canine guests, contributing to increased noise and the potential for unforeseen incidents; however, staff responded to these issues promptly and efficiently. The second-floor room featured a contemporary design, and the hallways were well-lit and spacious. While numerous improvements were apparent, the hotel lacked a refined atmosphere or unique characteristics. Staff were professional and courteous, and the on-site coffee cafe, while convenient, had limited operating hours and breakfast service. The room provided a secure and comfortable environment, with a clean and comfortable bed.

This has been our go to hotel when visiting my wife’s parents. We just need a place to sleep - no frills, just safe and clean. The location is perfect - lots of dining and shopping options nearby. Staff is great. The rooms could probably use an upgrade soon, but we’re just there for the night so it was fine for our needs. We actually experienced a 5.1 earthquake while we were there - hotel didn’t crumble to the ground so additional bonus points.

I've stayed at this hotel twice now. I do like location, the rooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable. Unfortunately my complaint is about the staff. Mostly housekeeping. I stayed here last month for a couple of nights. The counter had a glob of green toothpaste on it near the sink, the liquid soap dispenser was empty as was the conditioner in the shower. Also the bed was made so poorly that the bottom sheet kept bunching up under me all night. The most upsetting thing for me though is that I left a clothing item behind and the cleaning people have yet to find it. I called several times and the only two people who even tried to help me were Jeremy and Maggie. The rest of the people who answered the phone could have cared less. I have left items before in hotel rooms and have always gotten them back. Even mailed back from another state, so if you stay here and leave an item in your room you will probably never see it again. Because of this I would not stay here again.

Everything was so far good!!! By the time we checked out and paid for everything exactly according to the plan!! So we stayed there for 16 nights to spend our Christmas and 2025 new year and we left on January 2nd. Paid for everything as we were leaving. Two days later apparently someone else charged us for the exact same amount that we paid!!!!! The record is on the credit card so we called explained that and the guy in reception said ok he is going to send us an email of the details of the bill!!! Perfect but this is not our problem we already agreed on the bill the problem is the fact that they charged us TWICE !!!! I waited for 10 days. Nothing happened so we called again and same thing they still believe that they haven’t done anything wrong to charge us twice !!! I believe this was a lack of communication between them so probably two different people did the process but I’m so sorry this is not my problem!! They have to find out the customer needs in this case even after customer left the hotel!! Under No circumstances we will be paying TWICE for one time service.
I’m sharing this poor experience so they may pay more attention in the future and take more responsibility for their service and actions. Which they should…

Very strong mariguana smell all over the hotel aisles. Our room was very dirty, lots of dog hair, kitchen was also dirty, dishwasher clogged. We stayed in room 300, and one of the steps had a nail coming out from the rug. One of my kids stepped on it.
While pointing my observations to the staff, they immediately let the manager know and discounted a night out of our 5 night stay.

Biggest issue with this hotel is some of the front desk people. It smelled like marijuana the entire time I was there… I told the front desk and they told me that they knew about it and then it’s non-smoking but literally did nothing.

It was multiple times different areas. If you’re looking for a place to explain to your kid why it always smells like a skunk… Then this is the place to stay.

Also I had to pay $15 a day for parking. Breakfast options are extremely limited and overpriced.

Heated pool was also cold.
