I love this hotel,especially at Christmas time, but my last experience with the casino and restaurant have made me not want to come back for awhile. I never expect to win when I go but it would be nice to play a little bit. I didn’t see one person getting paid out. The restaurant is really good and we normally eat there every time but this time we didn’t. We gave the hostess our name and number and they said it would be about 15-20 minutes so we went to the bar and had a drink while we waited. After about 25 minutes we went to see how much longer it would be. The hostess was not at the stand, he was cleaning tables, while we were standing there a waiter came and asked the couple in front of is if they had a reservation, they said no, then the waiter was going to seat them, I said we did and no one let us know our table was ready. So we were finally seated and after about 5 minutes the waitress finally came over to take our order. She took our order and 10 minutes later our queso came out but not our drinks. The queso was cold, so we were going to send it back when the waitress brought us our drinks but she never did. She kept going to other tables and then stood at the bar talking to another waitress. We ended up telling another waiter to tell our waitress to cancel our order and walked out. We ended up going to local mexican restaurant to eat and it was really good.

The staff was amazing, truly incredible people. My wife and I were in town for a terminally ill family member, and the staff were so accommodating and personable. The staff makes The Artesian what it is. If we ever come back to Sulphur, OK…we will stay there without a doubt. We made some good friends this trip.

Tried to enjoy the hot tub but some mother left her 5 kids in there then they were running between there and the pool. Small Kid in the room next door was screaming, banging into the walls, arguing with her parents And when we called the front desk to complain, we were asked if we wanted to change rooms. This is at 8:30 at night after we both had a shower and I had a medical appointment at 5:00 a.m. an hour away so we are trying to sleep. Don't know why there is no security walking the halls to keep check on such things or why they weren't asked to be quiet or be evicted. Complains to front desk, front desk manager, awaiting call from higher up. Always before when we have stayed here we have loved it But if this is the new experience I will stay somewhere else next time

A weekend getaway sounded awesome, and the Artesian fit the bill. Upon check-in, all seemed to meet expectations. That is, until we went to our room, a jr suite. Bed was uncomfortable, pillows cheap and old. Couch saggy and TV lacking any options. No worries we planned a spa day. Masseuse arrives after a smoke break…imagine that smell in close proximity for an hour. We exhausted the day spa amenities, walked the 4 small shops, then decided we would rather pay for an unused night than sleep in that bed again. When we checked out, and explained why, the front desk clerk said, “okay.”

It was dead when we were there, only people almost in the restaurant every time. Nice rooms and the property is beautiful! There are little shops and a really tasty diner downstairs by the shops too we have actually stopped there even after our stay! They sell chocolates there too! Great food!

Charming hotel in a quiet town in Oklahoma that if I hadn’t driven there myself I would have thought I was in a boutique hotel in the city! Modern decor matched with the vintage appeal so many hotels strive for and miss, The Artesian is a gem and a must stop for travelers and locals alike! With an amazing restaurant inside that is open fairly late (10 pm I think), casino, retail shops outside, and a year round pool facility, I will put this on my Top 5 places to mini-vacay! All of the staff I encountered was friendly and genuinely wanted to make my stay as memorable as possible. The front desk even found a desk lamp for the room so I could work at 11:30 at night! The room was comfortable, spacious, tastefully decorated and included a guest safe, iron, blow dryer, and a walk in shower,

My wife and I spent one night just to get out of town. The lobby was decorated for Christmas. We enjoyed the huge hot tub; it's in a room all its own. The Springs restaurant was excellent! I had the Cajun tilapia, and my wife had the chicken pot pie. The only negative was the crushed velvet room chair from the 70's. All the stuffing was out.

Beautiful hotel. Had a large cooking room. Some might have called it. A suite. Restaurant was outstanding. One of the best hot tubs I've seen in a hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff.
