Cute coffee shop in a great spot. Not far from downtown St Pete. Pretty large coffee/cocktail bar with plenty of seating. I got the standard vanilla cappuccino and my partner got the regular cold coffee flight. Good price for 2 people early morning breakfast coffee stop.

Genuinely cute coffee shop. Friendly fun staff and so many great options for coffee and cocktails. Lots of seating in a quiet inviting atmosphere. I had a regular coffee flight but they also had a cute seasonal option! Free Parking is the back and there’s plenty of it.

The Blend: More Hype Than Substance

Stopped by The Blend on 41st N with high hopes for a caffeine hit, but let’s just say… it wasn’t exactly brewing greatness. The coffee? Bitter enough to make you question your life choices. And as for the tables—well, you’ll be hoping they don’t collapse mid-sip. Broken legs, dirty surfaces, and a general “we don’t care” vibe. Not ideal.

The cake selection? Barely worth mentioning—what little they had was sitting out on the counter, fully exposed to sneezes, coughs, and maybe a passing fly. Appetite ruined.

The staff? They seemed under pressure and a bit detached, like they’d rather be anywhere else. This place is trying so hard to be trendy that it’s forgotten the basics—good coffee, clean surroundings, and decent service.

The Blend might look the part, but the experience left me craving an actual good coffee shop. Style over substance doesn’t cut it when your tables are wobbling and your coffee tastes like regret. ☕

EDIT TO ADD: I see a lot of people complaining about the internet, not sure if there was a bad week but I do work and homework here often and have never had an issue.

The Blend is one of the easiest coffee spot choices in the area. With endless options and something for everyone, whether coffee snob or looking for a latte like a dessert, they've got you.

My husband's favorite breakfast sandwich in the WORLD is their chorizo, egg and cheese on an everything bagel. Hits EVERYTIME.

Their cookie butter latte, the Pot O Gold latte, every seasonal one we've had, it's hard to recommend because you can't go wrong. As an FYI - any of the ones with white espresso will be a touch sweeter. They are always great about doing half sweet!

They also do flavored Redbulls called "Bullseyes" that daily (embarrassing) have gotten me through postpartum and maternity leave.

The ONLY thing I would change or recommend is to look at their order online function before ordering in restaurant. Maybe I am missing something, but many of their incredible signature lattes available year around aren't posted anywhere. So you either need to know it exists, or check out online before!

Just tried this coffee shop after leaving a long line at the Crow. This place has excellent coffee espresso drinks and no waiting. Pleasant staff, clean and bright and good value. Perfect for sipping at a table or bar or “to go”. I cant wait to come later for their adult beverages!

I would give this place a 3.5/5. I got the February iced coffee flight, I wanted to love it because it looked really good but it didn't live up to my expectations. It did also take a little while to get my drinks but it wasn't that busy. It was a decent place to get work done but had a steady stream of people coming in and out so if you need quiet to work this probably isn't the best place to go.

The coffee flights here are decent. The service was decent as well. I felt that the coffee i had could have been better in terms who it tasted. There was a slight bitterness to it. The place is very good spot however to do your home work in a quiet environment.

This place is so cute!
Pros:
1. Great atmosphere. A good spot to work from. Lots of outlets for your computer and the music isn’t too loud.
2. Coffee is great. Just skip all the options and get the white chocolate latte. They also have a coffee flight here which is awesome.

Cons:
1. There aren’t too many food options. I wanted a bagel with butter and they did not have butter. Then I asked for peanut butter on it and they said they can’t take peanut butter from their other menu options.
2. You cannot make your own coffee flight
3. Parking is always full and you will typically have to walk. I didn’t mind this part as I like getting the exercise.
