We love the dress , but the service we received through the vendor was very unsatisfactory. The dress arrived almost 3 months late, communication was atrocious, and we are now facing not being able to find someone to make alterations in time for the wedding. We purchased the dress from Chic Bride in Salem Oregon.

When we went to pick up the dress today finally, the owner of the shop didn't take responsibility at all and attempted to assault me as we were leaving.

I DO NOT recommend selling your dress with them! I'm also in the same boat as some other reviewers who have cosigned their dress with the store but never heard back and upon reaching out and calling they never pick up their phone. I know my dress was sold and months later I still haven't received the check for it. And after they finally do pick the phone they are not professional and rude and say they'll get back to you, busy with a bride, but never actually get back. Unfortunately due to their unresponsiveness and unprofessional attitude I wouldn't recommend to cosign with them. I pretty much gave away my dress for free to this business. I will have to deal with it through court if I do not get my dress or payment back.

I recently visited this adorable shop and was able to chat with the owner Kara and it was so inspiring how much she really cares about serving each bride that comes through her doors. They had a huge range of options and even flower girl dresses as well! Be sure to check out their shop if you're wedding dress shopping!

Rude staff did not assist our bride at all! Dresses were damaged, dirty and way overpriced. This shopping experience would have ruined the day, but we went to David's bridal afterwards where the staff and selection were excellent.

Paid $1600 to be lied to and put off. Told 3 months, took 6 and when asked to make it right she said why would she. Owner is horribly unprofessional and shut the door on my disabled mothers arm. Absolutely should not be in business since by her own words her personal life is too hard to run her business correctly. I wish I could refund, but nope! Awful service.

What a great experience! Fantastic variety of gowns and sizes. Not rushed and tried on everything available. No high pressure sales. The best time trying on wedding gowns and my daughter found an amazing dress! Highly recommend!!!!!!!

The women who runs the place is extremely helpful, friendly, funny, and knowledgeable!
I love that it’s a local consignment shop in Salem. I went two times to try to find my wedding dress but just couldn’t find “the one” even though there was a variety of options both times. I had a good time with both experiences though and like the atmosphere a lot. There are only three dressing rooms with plenty of light, fun decor, and seating options for friends/family with you.
This past weekend, my Maid of Honor and I went to look for her bridesmaid dress and got the first one we liked! Fantastic being able to get it second hand because it was half off the online price, supported the local place, and reduced waste of a new dress in the market.
I recommend Shabby Chic to anyone looking for wedding dress or wedding party dress!

This was my first and only store I went to go dress shopping in Jan 2017. It wasn't open at the time and it seemed fairly new at the location. My mom and I were peaking in getting a better view as we waited. I do remember the lady was a bit late, but that didn't matter I was too excited. I forgot who helped me, but she was so friendly and positive. I got an used Dave's Bridal that I loved at first sight. They did help me find other dresses just in case. It was very beautiful material and the price was about right. Might think to sell it back 🙂
