Sarah did another amazing job! The ladies at this shop are so sweet! They make you feel like family. Sarah added highlights and a haircut. And gave me some tips on my hair that has been changing due to getting older. And the hair products she suggested are really making a difference! Just an all around feel good and looking good place! This was my first time going due to my stylist of 9 years moving away. I had a family member who raved about the salon so I thought I would try. I was originally paired with another person but she was ill, the salon didn’t call to reschedule, they found a solution with another stylist. This was much appreciated as my timeline was tight. Sarah was so kind and gentle and asked a lot of questions to help my experience go the best possible. The ambiance was relaxing and I really enjoyed my time there, especially the processing room:)

Sarah is a wonderful stylist! She made me feel SO comfortable cutting my hair, as I haven’t cut my hair in YEARS. She made sure I was with her every step of the way. I can't say enough great things about my experience with Ashley at The Hive Boutique and Salon! I originally popped in for a quick bang trim after hearing about the salon, and from the moment I walked in, I was so impressed. The salon has the perfect girly, organic, eco-modern vibe, and the team was incredibly welcoming and accommodating. They even gave me a little tour of the space, which was such a nice touch.

Switching stylists is always nerve-wracking, especially since I’ve been loyal to my previous stylist in Tampa for years. But with my move, the commute became too much, so I took a chance—and I’m so glad I did!

Ashley took the time to sit with me for a thorough color consultation, and I showed her some inspiration photos for the red tone I wanted. She gave me a super clear and fair estimate, and I felt totally confident booking with her. After my first visit, they even sent me home with the cutest little gift bag, which made the experience feel extra special.

Fast forward to my second visit for an all-over gloss and touch-up, and I was completely blown away! Ashley and the team went the extra mile by researching the exact color blend from my inspiration photo—seriously, the attention to detail was amazing.

The spa experience at The Hive is next level. While my color was developing, I got to relax in the back room with aromatherapy and a massage chair, complete with a hot towel wrap for my head. It felt like a little slice of heaven! And when it came time to rinse, Ashley gave me the most incredible neck and scalp massage—I melted right into the chair. After a hectic few weeks at work, it was exactly what I needed.

Of course, the real magic was the final result. My color came out absolutely stunning, and my blowout was flawless. I couldn’t be happier! I feel refreshed, confident, and completely in love with my hair.

I’m so grateful I found Ashley and The Hive Boutique—this is the salon experience I’ve been searching for. I can’t wait to go back for my next appointment! Highly, highly recommend!

Desi, the salon owner, is simply the best in the area! She cares so much and takes so much pride in each client that comes into her salon, whether they’re styled by her or another stylist. She provides the highest level of customized care and styling and I’ve never felt so seen and pampered! She really makes sure every client gets exactly what they need and want for their personal style. I’ve been coming here for balayage / custom highlights, and I also have very thick hair, and I’ve been beyond happy with the results every time. Would highly recommend!!

Ashley and her boss were absolutely amazing! They helped me find the right haircut for my hair type and also a haircut that would look great on me and be able to style it easier at home. I cannot recommend them enough. For me it’s the best place in Land O Lakes area and I’ve visited a few. Do yourself a favor and check this place out it’s smells so good and the chairs they use to wash your hair in have massage features on them. It’s so Zen/Spa like you’ll absolutely have a blast and you’ll leave definitely happier than you walked in!
