We had a tee time at Oaks Golf Course at 8:30a. We got to The Marketplace at 8:03 thinking we had plenty of time. They took so long that we ended up 10 minutes late to our tee time. One of the girls was doing almost all of the work while another was just hanging out. Another showed up late. They were out of several food options, however the food flavor was on par with Starbucks.

The Marketplace is located on the Welk Resort Property, near the theatre, the canyon grill and the check in area. It is clearly a market for those who had forgotten certain supplies and didn’t feel the need to drive to Walmart, Costco the gas station or Vons which is only a few miles down. The front desk even gives you directions to these places. But I’m sure, the Starbucks at this location is what brings in the crowd, I wouldn’t recommend the Market unless you need something in emergency. The shelves are a bit bare and the prices are extremely inflated. They have snacks, breakfast stuff, alcohol, milk, and a small shelf of traveling essentials just in case you forgot something..

It is illegal to charge more than the advertised price. I have reported to the Attorney General. This is a 99 cent drink that I was charged $2.99 for. There were no other price tags or labels in the refrigerated section. When I was asked why I’m being overcharged $2 the cashier Kali told me she doesn’t make the prices.

While the location itself is pleasant, the customer service at this Starbucks location was unacceptable. An employee named Lilian (if I recall correctly) exhibited extremely disrespectful behavior on multiple occasions. On Friday, her rudeness was evident, but I chose to overlook it, assuming it might have been an isolated incident. However, upon returning on Saturday, her unprofessional demeanor persisted. She aggressively snatched a bag of chips from my hand, threw my change without a word, and, after completing my transaction, walked away without providing a receipt or offering the courtesy of a "have a good day," which she extended to other customers. This level of service is entirely unacceptable and needs to be addressed.

When I push 0 for an operator, it just rings endlessly. Someone needs to be suspended or fired for not performing their job duties of answering the phone for customer inquiries. Can't even find an answer to my question I called about!

Absolutely amazing experience. I was welcomed openly and my mask exemption honored. I was treated with professionalism and kindness even respect. They have beer, wine, pop, water, ice cream, bread, bacon everything you'd need to make breakfast. Milk cereal Starbucks too. Amazing staff, good products and a section for last minute toiletries.
