I am concern about the emergency fund at the store in 4th street in el centro California. I have a friend in need to pay her electricity and every time she calls a the same woman answers telling her there is no funds !! She doesn't give her a interview or get her info. My friend calls everyday this month and same excuses "no funds " 😒 is someone regulating this place for corruption?

I've been calling since last week to donate a lot of nice clothes, and antique furniture, and no one ever answers the phone. So I left e-mails, and still no response. I would rather throw everything away now instead of donating them to the salvation army. We have great Salvation Army's here in San Diego. There here to help, not sit around not answering the phones. At least take the phone off the hook, to make it seem like you're answering calls.

Drop off hours are like 9-noon so pretty much anyone that wants to donate is at work. I can’t speak for the store itself. Staff is always friendly though.

Prices are great but beware everything is just thrown in big cardboard boxes that means u have to dig dig dig. This is a Virgos nightmare. If u find one shoe good luck finding the other. No clear path way to walk also I seeing a guy almost fall in one of those boxes. Not a pleasant shopping experience. It's a free for all

Needs more friendly staff and the workers should keep certain people from there who are just tere to talk to the volunteers and their friends instead of buying, when i volunteered two people stayed for abo6t 30 minutes just sitting and playing with a scooter and asking the volunteers weird questions before finally deciding to buy something. Good stuff there sometimes though.

Definitely not wheel chair accessible. Everything is in very tall boxes. If you try to tip them over to reach inside you will be chastised. Short people stay home. Bizarre place.

They're only open from 9 a.m to noon. Outdoor sale only, on their front porch, not allowed indoors due to COVID-19? Prices were reasonable. You do have to dig through boxes though.

It was hard to find men's clothing. It's hard to get someone to help me reach items that are up on high racks because I'm in a wheelchair. Once I got to register to pay the gentleman that helped me was extremely pleasant.
