The UPS Store - Hercules, California

This store INTENTIONALLY misplaced my package with important documents!! I visited this store about a week ago to take photos for my VISA application. The owner of the store personally took my photos and insured me that my package would be expedited to the embassy. After completing my transaction I was given a tracking number. However as the days progressed I noticed that my package never left the UPS store. I proceeded to visit the store in order to speak with someone about a possible update on my expedited package. The employees were unwilling to assist me and instead provided me with the owner's contact. After speaking with the owner she informed me that "packages go missing all the time" and there was nothing she can do about it. I've been getting the run around ever since. Please be careful when sending packages from this location.

I have had a box at this location for over 10 years. Every since Corina has moved on the service has been terrible. I called to have my mailed sent to me TWO WEEKS ago and have yet to receive although I have been charged for shipping. A woman advised me a week ago that she'd look into it and she'd call me back. I have yet to hear from her. I have been calling and emailing the store for 6 days. The phone is ringing and emails have not been answered. At this point, I am going to get my legal counsel involved as my credit card was used and I have not received my mail. I am looking to speak to the owner. This is such a bad business move. Cornia should have been moved up to the highest level. She was the lifeline to this store.

I had the displeasure of attempting to retrieve a package that was held here for my girlfriend who lost her ID over the weekend. My girlfriend had a package held at this location and attempted to retrieve it on 11/29/2024. She realized that she misplaced her ID and attempted to utilized a photo of her ID, utility bill with matching address, and a credit card with her name on it, she was refused service. So we place a call to UPS to see if I would be able to pick up the package. So there would be no issues I requested that the agent call ahead and I would show up with all the tracking info, my government issued ID, and a utility bill. Even after having a representative from UPS call and state that it was ok to release the package to me Cinda, Cindy, (whatever her name is) refused to do so. She then proceeded to attempt to show me a bunch of UPS rules stating that we didn’t have the same last name, so she refused the agents request. I questioned as to how she felt as if she could supersede the shipper in this instance, she basically said because she can, that she doesn’t work for UPS, etc. This situation (which I believed would be a simple pickup) ended up with six police officers being called out and lots of unnecessary aggression and frustration (I’m now trespassed from this location 😂). Also, the police still ended up giving us the package, so this was a total waste of time and energy! But, if you’re interested in low class service, lots of attitude and disrespect, this is definitely the place.

I have been using a lockbox at this UPS store going on 5 yrs now and never had a problem. Now you don’t get your mail in a timely manor, they are too busy to answer the phone and are very rude. Do yourself a favor and go elsewhere. The crew has changed and definitely not as efficient to say the least!!

Update ***
After a 1 week 1/2 nightmare, the Embassy FINALLY RECEIVED MY PASSPORT!!! They were supposed to initially receive it in 2 days !!. Maybe the workers had a change of heart after reading my review!!. I'm just GREATFUL they found my package and finally delivered it to the Embassy! I am a fair and honest person, which is why I needed to add this update, but best believe I'll NEVER STEP FOOT IN THIS ESTABLISHMENT AGAIN !!

If you ship ANYTHING of VALUE, DO NOT SHIP IT HERE !! I REPEAT .. DO NOT SHIP IT HERE!!. THESE NEGLIGENT workers lost my package intentionally!! They knew I was mailing my passport to the Embassy for my upcoming trip !!! The Ower Sunday was annoyed that she had to keep taking our pictures over for our visa due to the poor picture quality of her camera. Once she was finally done, I went home to gather all of my documents so I could have them mailed. When I arrived back at this location, the UPS driver happened to be there as well. I saw the two of them conversing. Which now makes sense as to why because Im sure he was in on it as well. I was sent on a WILD GOOSE CHASE trying to locate my package, but to no avail. They TOLD ME MY PACKAGE WAS LOST !!!! NO WAY !!!! THEY STOLE IT !! EITHER WAY, THIS WAS INTENTIONAL!!! THIS HAS BEEN A COMPLETE NIGHTMARE!!!!!!!!!!!

There’s two lines. Why have everyone wait for people packing your items. Let there be a register for packages ready to go!!!!
This is the third time I come to get a receipt, having to wait in 25+ minute lines. Ridiculous, I just need a receipt. Today I had left, other worker at register said wait in line, didn’t help. Terrible service

The worse experience ever!!!
If you are shipping important documents such as passports,etc. I repeat!! Don't not go to this location. Better yet go through USPS or Fedx. These people will steal or purposely as they say loose your package. This has been a complete nightmare!!

Horrible service!! The place feels dirty, outdated
and smells even worse!! There’s like 5 agents but all they do is talk out back ! Nothing works the ceiling is coming down in some parts of the store the employees look like they came from from a crackhouse..
