If you have not been to Threads of Tradition, you don’t know what you’re missing. The owner and the staff are always so friendly and helpful. They have great classes, free sewing days, beautiful fabric., patterns, thread, quilt kits , Kimber Bell, and so much more. You can drop your finished quilt top off and Katie will do a beautiful job quilting it for you.

The first time I went in, I thought that the store was beautiful and the owner was incredibly nice. She is wanting to create a store that is welcoming to younger quilters. However, one of her employees does not share that same want. I went in this afternoon for the second time ever to buy fabric to be the back and binding for a quilt that I have been working on for eight months. This is the first quilt I have made in four years as I was in nursing school. The employee working today insulted the quilt top that I brought in and was buying for multiple times. She also sold me more fabric than I wanted because I “would probably make a mistake”. She judged my quilt top and me due to my young age. It was very disheartening and disappointing to be treated this way. The only reason I have not given this store a one star rating is because the owner was so nice to me on my first visit.

**Update** Remembered the quilt this time and found the perfect backing & binding fabric for it! Can't wait til it's complete! My daughter is so excited for her first quilt to be finished.

Very homey feel to this quaint quilt shop. The ladies were very nice and welcomed us and let us browse. We found lots of fabric for my daughters quilt backing. Next time we plan on not forgetting the quilt so we can actually purchase the backing. So many adorable patterns and fabric galore! Sew fun to play in fabric!

Fantastic shop. 3 or 4 rooms of fabric with a large sewing room that would be wonderful to take a class in. The staff was friendly and engaging. Made several suggestions for other shops. It was like talking to an old friends. Very very highly recommend.
