Wonderful family man and very trustworthy. Honestly, Logan is fantastic. I typically am concerned when car salesmen seem trustworthy because that usually means they’re too good at their job. Those salesman are typically steering you with their well chosen interactions just intent on making a quick buck. Instead, this is a good ole Texan who cares about connection. Connection with you and connecting you to your next car.

Logan cares about quality cars that will last many years to come, look good, and have great history. He truly matches the buyer with what car they want AND NEED, finding joy in knowing they will never regret their purchase with him.

If he doesn’t think he has what you need, he will tell you. His prices are fair so there’s not all the classic haggling. He is very straight forward, tactful, respectful, and honorable. He’s the kind of guy you want to have in a friend but he still remains professional.

As a Commercial Lender I see multiple dealer transactions day in and day out. I always rely on judgement of character and logic in my daily decisions. Logan was extremely knowledgeable, professional, compassionate, and truthful. He valued our time after making a 7 hour trip to pick up our Toyota 4Runner. Our transaction was a great experience and I would happily refer my friends and family to purchase a vehicle from him as he is dedicated to quality and enjoys helping his customers.

After reading mostly stellar reviews, unfortunately my experience was different. I purchased a Toyota Corolla from Top Notch Used Cars and in less than 200 miles, the check engine light came on. Car has now been in the shop more than it’s been driven at a cost of thousands of dollars in repairs. A prior review mentioned that Logan has several local mechanics who gets his cars ready for sale. Apparently repairs to my Toyota was passed on to me even though Logan assured me this would be a great dependable car for my daughter. I absolutely regret this purchase. Buyer beware.

I'm genuinely mixed about my experience. At first when I reached out about an older car Logan had on his lot I was very pleased with his transparency and communication. I was also very grateful that he was willing to hold the vehicle for several days without requiring a deposit. He sent me several additional pictures, including of some cosmetic damage, and the car had a good service history so my father and I made the 15 hour trip to see the car, test drive it, and buy it if everything checked out.
When we arrived and got a somewhat unenthusiastic greeting, we thoroughly inspected the vehicle and it seemed very sound mechanically but was in a bit worse shape than I expected cosmetically. On the test drive everything seemed perfect until I tested the brakes with a hard stop from about 15 mph and the slip indicator light started turning off and on seemingly at random. Logan was unhappy about this and told me I should brake hard like that, despite having warned him that I was going to do that, and suggested I park the car and restart it. That did correct the issue and I continued the test on some side streets. Just as I was finishing and gently pulled up to a stop sign, the slip indicator came on again. This time Logan seemed a bit agitated and said that in the three weeks he's had it and tested it, that's never happened. I totally get that and I've experienced the same frustration when selling my own car in the past with a new issue suddenly appearing in front of a potential buyer.
After getting back to the shop I looked into the indicator light and found it could be as simple as a speed sensor or as bad as a malfunction with the traction control system. Despite some slight reservations, I was prepared to purchase the car for only slightly less than asking price but when I walked back into the office, Logan seemed very disinterested in the sale and implied that I had broken the vehicle on the test drive. I tried to reassure him that I was genuinely interested in the car and wasn't concerned by the minor issues. The only thing I asked was if he could do a new battery since the one in the vehicle was badly corroded.
This is where things really turn sour. Logan's attitude became almost hostile and he cut me off saying he wasn't going to do anything. According to him there was nothing wrong with the vehicle and I had caused the problem with the slip indicator. He essentially told me he didn't need my business and that dealers would turn people like me away since the car would see regardless. At this point I had a very strong gut feeling that I was being swindled, so when he finally stopped talking I told him I'd have to think about it and left. Well it didn't take long for me to be comfortable with my decision. As soon as I got back to the hotel I was sure I didn't trust him and wouldn't be buying a used car that day.
Thankfully on the trip home I stumbled upon the same exact car in Kansas for only $500 more and in far better overall condition. That salesman was interested in doing business and after coming down $250, I was happy to buy from him.
In summary, while I appreciate his flexibility and initial communication, I was left seriously doubting the integrity Logan so often claims to have. In the end he seemed as though he's either not very knowledgeable about cars, or he's just another pushy, rude, used car salesman.

We are grateful to have found a trustworthy, used car dealership. Logan took a lot of time with us, explaining how he goes about choosing the vehicles he has for sale. He's very deliberate in choosing what he sells to people. Logan is friendly, professional, and honest. He truly wants to see his customers happy and satisfied with their purchase. We bought a 2012 Toyota Highlander from him about a month ago. Everyone knows that when purchasing a used vehicle, there is always a chance something could go wrong in the future because it's not a brand new vehicle. So we we took it to Toyota and paid to have a used car inspection done. It came back fine with no issues. Our daughter will be purchasing a car in the near future and she will be buying from Logan at Top Notch. I highly recommend buying from Top Notch!

There is a reason Logan has this many 5 star reviews, and it's because he is FANTASTIC, my wife and I are getting our next family car from him and I couldn't be more excited. It is exactly what I was looking for and more. None of the typical start driving the car that's supposed to have nothing wrong with it, and then things start falling apart as you drive. No pressuring sales. Trying to get you to buy immediately, just honest communication. He knows what he's talking about, especially when it comes to Toyotas, Toyotas are a great car and when you pair a great car with a great dealer like Logan, you'll get a great deal and a choice you'll never regret.

Top Notch Used Cars was an incredible experience for both my wife and I. Logan, the owner, was awesome. From when we walked into the door to do business with him, he was professional, energetic, and personable. We purchased a vehicle from Top Notch Used Cars and found out that the tires were unbalanced on the highway. We called Logan and told him about the situation, and he told us to go get the tires rebalanced. He told me to send him the receipt for the cost, and he refunded that cost for my wife and I. He’s a great person and this is not a normal car lot. Top Notch Used Cars is a professional lot, and we will buy from there again one day!
