My wife and I have been going here for the longest time. Dr. Garrett Milner and Dr. Lau are very professional & thorough in explaining what’s going with your eyes. The staff are very nice and helpful in every way. We’ll give them 5 stars👍

I had an appointment done for myself and my 3 daughters for a routine exam and asked them if everything was covered by my insurance they said yes, when i got there they were making me sign paperwork and i noticed they were charging me i asked what is this and what else will i be billed for they said that was it that its a fee for all new patients but everything else would be covered by my insurance. I was already there so its not like I could cancel and i was trying to get my daughters appointments before my insurance ended. Once they checked my eyes they told me i can pick glasses for my daughters and me and showed me the ones covered by my insurance.Next they charged me for retinal imaging which was never disclosed to me until the very end, imagine my surprise when i had to pay for a each one of us. I had just lost my job and this came to a surprise. I think i ended up paying 80 for each one of us which i did not expect. I had also told the
lady that checked my eyes that my eyes constantly always water, she said that was normal. Well it was not normal ended up going to another doctor and they gave me eye drops and changed my glasses.

Frames cost almost $200 but are cheap and break and they don't respond nor replace. Sent three emails, went in person, spoke on phone...and they did nothing to honor warranty.

Recently picked up new glasses, and after a couple of days, realized that the fit of the frames and angle of the lenses just wasn't quite right. Thought I might be being too picky, but the optometrist agreed. In a matter of minutes she had everything fitted and adjusted to perfection. I am always futzing with my glasses, but I haven't felt the need to touch them since she fixed me up. I am ashamed to say I did not get her name. Have been going to this office for at least 20 years, and this is one more example of the great people and service. I am grateful for their care. Thank you!

well I was not seen by the doctor so I cannot speak to that. This is all about the front desk and rudeness. I am absolutely disgusted with the lack of customer service. I had an appointment scheduled I knew I was going to be slightly late for the appointment because I had a car issue. I called and said I will be slightly late and that was fine I got off the phone got the car going got there no more than 10 minutes late I walk in and they say we're not going to be able to see you. 10 minutes late. And I called and they said it would be fine. And their excuse was well another patient came in in those 10 minutes so apparently they don't schedule the appointments very well. In fairness I was late but that is still absolutely ridiculous I was a first-time patient but I will not be taking my business there because of that level customer service the standard then that's below my standard.

Walked out of my appointment today. I was there for an eyetest and needed 2 pairs of glasses . I was immediately berated for failing to complete an online form. I asked for a paper copy to fill out and they could not provide one as they are"paperless ". I never felt welcome and was treated poorly. I will take my business where seniors are treated with more class.

Staff are very friendly. MaryAnn is always nice and helpful. She helped my son to choose and order the frame for his glasses. Dr. Milner is very nice and knowledgeable too.

Good customer service, but I don't appreciate their business ethics, especially this shouldn't be happening in Hercules-- I will not go back there again. I walked in to get glasses and contact lens exams using my health insurance and they failed to explain to me that they were going to do series of odd tests (I still don't know why that was necessary) which will not be covered by the insurance. I had to pay around $70 extra out of my own pocket. After the exam was done, the doctor told me to wait for a week to see if the contact is working for me or not and at that time, I thought that was okay. But when I called back to get the prescription, they will not listen to my request and insist in ordering the contract lens through them, even though I was simply asking for the prescription that you've paid for. I mention this because they were so persistent. Again, this is not a good business practice and I hate to see this happening in a nice town like Hercules-- Never going back there again.
