The employees are mostly helpful. A few of them (including the manager) looked to be too much in a hurry to ask questions to. The checkout experience was quick and the selection is of course the best in the area. Prices can’t be beat. They also offer wine tasting at this location.

This is the Huntington Beach location, but any of them are excellent. Some of the best prices around but more importantly, their staff is superb no matter what location you are at. I highly recommend their small wine tasting gatherings on thursday, friday, and saturdays. You learn a lot and it helps in selecting your Saturday evening dinner wine.

There is a wine for everyone you can literally find the perfect wine everytime this place has it all me and my wife love coming here its fun to look around and see all the selection they have to chose from as well as here the knowledgeable help from staff when needed I would say the only thing that concerned me was the huge rat trap I seen

I don't enjoy shopping here cause of the poor customer service but I have to admit they have a wide selection of alcohol. Yesterday I purchased a $150 bottle of Irish whiskey and was upset that the female manager wouldn't price match Hi Times Costa Mesa to save me $20... she said the location was too far but it's only 11 miles. The customer service here is always awful other than the bald man with glasses. Do yourself a favor and go down the street to bevmo. They will take care of you and honor your price matches within reason.

I’m 32, came in with my Dutch boyfriend (28), to buy a pack of beer and a bottle of tequila. We both had our IDs with us, are members, and have come for years. All of a sudden today, the older man with the glasses who I guess is the manager, refused to accept my boyfriend’s valid Dutch drivers license and was very rude. He gave us a hard time and refused to sell us the items. I couldn’t even buy my own - as a 32 year old grown adult, he said we have to come back with a physical passport. It was quite ridiculous as we just bought wine from Trader Joe’s just before with no issues. We took our business instead to BevMo down the street immediately right after with no issues.

We were clearly over the age of 21, both with valid government issued IDs, and he had a choice to either give us a hard time or just sell us the 2 items. Not sure why throughout the years it suddenly became a huge issue today. What a waste of time.

Every time I've been here the staff are very friendly. There are a couple things that they have not had in stock that I wish they did, one being Bookers Bourbon, the other being Pyramids Apricot Ale. But they are the only store I know to still have Agwa on the shelf. I won't say what it is. Just look at the picture. The only other place you can get this liquor is online. Lets just say the first shot makes your mouth a little numb. Enjoy!!!

Not the store to purchase finer or aged wine. I purchased a 2012 online, received a 2017 bottle. Store doesn’t realize the year of the wine matters. They should have more knowledgeable staff, instead of giving me the feeling I’m shopping at a corner store.
