Went in there and was waited on by the owner who was standing in front of a rack of cigarettes which advertised, with two banner signs across a row of cigarettes, "Marlboro $5.30”. After I had selected a pack I was informed that there we're only a few packs of Marlboros that were $5.30, on an entirely different shelf, even though there were two banner signs spread across an entire row of Marlboro cigarettes, with absolutely nothing to indicate which kinds of Marlboros. He told me I was misreading the sign. I attempted, briefly, to explain to him I was reading the sign that should be in front of the cigarettes that were $5.30 and there was nothing on the sign to indicate what type of Marlboros. Needless to say I won't be back. Deceptive advertising is one thing but craziness and stupidity on top of it is too much. He actually did me a favor because I'm going to quit smoking anyway and he just gave me added incentive.
