You know, if I could give 0 stars, I would. We were having a nice vacation on the island, and we decided to pop into this store to look for some souvenirs. But when we asked the store owner if she had a restroom, she didn't even look up from what she was doing, and then rudely told us to go across the road to the gas station if we needed to use the restroom. All the prices were ridiculously high, and all in all, the store owner is just plain rude. We will never visit her store again.

Me and my family wanted to go shopping here and possibly get food, when a women "the shop owner" decided to inform us that we need to get off her property! She did not say this in any form of respect just ..."get off my property I own all of this and you need to get off". We explained that we were going to shop and we were pulling our travel trailer and parked well off to the side. The restaurant that we parked by she even said was not open for a few minutes... that would be time so we thought to shop in her store. She gave us the okay symbol with her hand and drove away to the front of the store. Then when our family was shopping inside (with 3 children planning to buy many things) she told us to get out! She lost our money I hope she losses your's too! Only rude person on our whole vacation other than that we loved our trip. Don't waste your time here!

We were greeted with rudeness and six or seven prohibition signs on the front door. No this, no that, don't do this, don't do that. Store dogs jumped all over us, even though we like dogs it was just too much. But the gallery around the corner is definitely worth going to and they are nice

We have been going to this store for decades, this is not a Walmart. This is a small business run by a widow with a limited amount of time to make enough money to pay for the overhead on her business. She sells quality items that last for years. Yes, prices may be higher, but her overhead on the business has to be tremendous . I admire the fact that she still maintains a gift shop with trinkets for the kids, and items for adults. There is only one other store on the island that handles these things. Just the history of this old store is worth the visit. I believe it is the oldest building on the island(sans additions).

Nice shop, they have everything from souvenirs to beach accessories. Got some nice things there, will definitely go back. Staff is friendly and polite. Good selection and well priced.

Horrible! We got there at 10:30 (their sign on the door says open at 10) some of the doors said open and some said closed. So my husband got out and went to see if the door was open before we got the kids out of the car. The door was unlocked. We all get out and walk back up to the door and they had locked it from the time we got back up to the door. For the biggest souvenir shop on the island it has awful customer service and i guess they don't like to make money.

Very rude. I have a small child who needed to use the restroom, and when we asked about it she told us to go across the street. There were no signs to indicate that there was no public restroom. She was extremely rude when she spoke to us. Basically, she told us to leave. We did, and we will never be back.

Great selection of souvenirs and beach needs. Staff friendly and courteous. Have purchased items there the past 2 years while vacationing at Dauphin Island.
