I highly recommend this shop. As a woman, I felt valued as an athlete, respected as an equal and my questions were fully answered. I was able to test ride and buy a road bike that was perfect for me and my riding goals. James (who assisted me) was so responsive and was careful to stay within my price range and not try to upsell products that I didn’t want. I drove an hour each way to shop at Trek of SB for the first time and I will definitely return in the future. I recommend you do, too!

Mechanics were able to service problematic mechanical issues such as hydraulic brakes, replaced brake pads, suggest chain replacement to really tighten up the shifting and braking on a much loved EU designed and imported e-bike. Also, they noticed, isolated and tightened up front fork and front wheel that was noticeable but escaped my abilities.

Very satisfied with the service care and attention to detail the people working for us there provided.
As well as explaining new technology equipment and bicycle design innovation changes for my opportunity to equip my new Trek carbon gravel bike with since I had last purchased a bicycle Years ago.
I even changed my desire from a mb & road racing past to return the bike that I had first ordered which they assembled for me then exchanging it for a more laid back style.
All easily achieved once I had a think about it after my deposit to make the switch.
They also loaned me a helmet to borrow while my new helmet is on order to their shop.
Great service and selection, very patient .

General Manager Jerry and Service Manager John K in Trek’s Goleta store made an unbelievably great first impression. I had not been in the store since Trek acquired Bicycle Bob’s. I brought in 4 of my family’s bikes for service that had been collecting dust in our garage. I happened to mention that I would be taking them down to my brother’s family who had lost their home and everything in it in the Palisades fire. Not only were they very friendly and super helpful, but they completely comped the service when they found out these were being tuned up for fire victims AND asked if I would be interested in taking down 3 smaller kids bikes they had received on trade-in for donation to any other families who had also lost their house. What an incredible act of kindness!

Everything was great. Even though there was a hiccup with my bike, staff members made everything possible to get it done right, and they did! The new bike was delivered in one day and assembled soon after the arrival. They provided me with all the necessary info on maintenance. I'm very thankful to Jerry, Rodger and Joe for making it happen.
