it's nice to see so many bamboo species in such a small area. very educational! But, personally I think you need a good size bamboo forest to be able to appreciate the beauty of bamboo!

There are no words to describe how awesome this place was! The people who work there take pride in what they do! This place was so beautiful I almost cried and I’m a grown man. Sweetest people you could ever meet! They don’t charge admission either. It’s totally free! Go on a cloudy windy day that’s when it won’t be crowded! We basically had the place to ourselves!! Bamboo they sell is very well priced and great quality! We came on February 18th 2023

Nice place to get bamboo. They must have a million varieties. I picked up five of the 3 gallon gracialis and they’re doubled the size a month later. Can’t wait until they block out the ugly fence. Will be back to get more.

I don’t often write reviews but I have to give credit when it is due.

I made my fourth purchase from Tropical Bamboo today and was once again very satisfied with my purchase and the customer service. The bamboo was even bagged so it wouldn’t make a mess of my car.

They have the best prices in the state for retail purchases and they are worth the drive. Every variety you could imagine.

Ordered some bamboo online and emailed back and fourth with Andrea about some stuff relating to my order. They were incredibly helpful and I would defiantly buy from them again and if I ever get the chance, drive over there to check out the nursery.

June 2020: We wanted to plant a privacy hedge - a local nursery suggested we try viburnum. But after 3 years the vibrernum were only 4 feet tall and not bushy. So we dug them up, and gave them away. After online research we decided we would try mail ordered bamboo plants from Tropical Bamboo. The plants arrived packaged with care and we couldn't be happier with their quality. We look forward to watching them grow. I'll take photo updates..

July 2020: It's amazing how fast our Chinese Dwarf Bamboo plants have grown in just a month. The small bamboo in the foreground is a Tropical Black bamboo - it seems to grow a little slower.

August 2020: It's only been about 8 weeks - the Chinese Dwarf plants are already higher and lusher than the viburnum we grew for 3 years (see photo). Some of the bamboo canes are 6 feet tall - amazing! We love the plants so much that we planted 6 more Chinese Dwarfs and 2 Dwarf Buddha Bellies the first of this month (August 2020).

September 2020: Lots of rain really helped the plants to shoot up this month! It also helped the Tropical Black Bamboo in the forground. It's a little hard to see but a couple of the shoots grew approximately 4 feet this month.

A bamboo forest tucked away off a dirt road with many varieties to select. Very helpful staff to recommend the right type of bamboo for your garden.
