My sister was buying her first ever makeup and was so excited, had a cashier scoff and roll their eyes and being very rude and upset when she didn’t understand some of the payment stuff the person was referring to. Great products but needs much better customer service!! Everytime I’ve needed to come for something I always have had bad customer service. Always an employee annoyed or sighing in my face when i ask a question or just plain have a rude demeanor. I drive 25 minutes to a local Sephora to feel comfortable enough to buy makeup. This is a great store but please work on customer service

The employees, everyone I met was so passive aggressive and think calling customers sweet names takes away from the passive aggressiveness. I went in for a piercing, and the woman who did my piercing had such an attitude when I was nothing but kind. I was so excited for my piercing- but she rushed me so hard as if a piercing isn’t a hole in someone’s body. I was very disappointed because the placement was not what I wanted and she did not seem apologetic either when I told her I wasn’t happy with it, my interaction with her left me in tears. I was in tears today and if weren’t for the current manager I would have never gone to Ulta Beauty ever again. The employees absolutely made me feel so bad. Do better ulta beauty, especially as women- we should be supporting each other and listening to each other. Ulta would have definitely lost me as a customer forever. That employee and all other employees at Pinole need to go through training again.

I had the most pleasant experience at Ulta- Pinole location. The most wonderful sales associate helped me. His name is Paul, and he is the best, knowledgeable, friendly, sweet and funny. Thank you Paul

Employees are always extremely rude and give off the vibe that they think they’re better than others. They don’t seem interested to help customers at all, they should find another job if they at least can’t act like they wanna be there. Hella stuck up people. I don’t even know why ulta even hired them. I see other people having the same comments and that only further proves my point. Once again hella stuck up and ignorant people. Y’all needa hire better people that can actually do customer service instead of just being rude and mean. Plus my most recent visit, I had felt I was being treated differently since I was wearing my traditional dress, not to mention all the employees evidently come from different backgrounds.

ULTA IN PINOLE IS THE BEST ULTA AROUND TOWN!!
ITS AGREAT LOCATION WITH OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE AND AMAZING EMPLOYEES.
THE STORE IS ALWAYS CLEAN AND THEY ARE VERY VERY INNOVATING
I WOULD HAVE TO CONGRATULATE MANAGEMENT FOR SUCH AN EXCELLENT STORE.

Bad service from one of the employee so rude she had me waiting for more than 10 minutes to help me with a perfume I didn’t catch her name but I’ll be back and I will get her name. I also wanted to use my rewards points I didn’t had my actual ID with me but I have the DMV wallet app, I use the DMV app in other stores and it’s acceptable. Next time I see her I will get her name and I will record too. I’m really disappointed with the service I got from the employee I don’t understand what was her problem

I originally went just to pick up a gift card for Xmas exchange. It was low crowd when I went in so I decided to browse for new makeup. I'm older, hardly ever wear makeup and my sister who normally goes makeup shopping with me (picks everything out for me) wasn't available. I needed to start from scratch so I needed color matching, instruction, some guidance, the works... Jocelyn was so kind and patient with me. She started by asking about my current routine and skin care regimen. We discussed different foundations and why i might want one more than the other. In the end I felt no judgment even though I'm probably old enough to be her mother. The other ladies were just as helpful and kind trying to help me find stuff. She even took my "hardly ever wear makeup" stance into acct and found products that sell smaller sizes, maybe travel size? so I didn't end up wasting money on a full size when I'd never even get thru half the bottle. My experience at Ulta was enjoyable, SO much less anxiety than the other makeup store. I will definitely be revisiting when I need refills and maybe next time I'll check out the other sections.
