The lady at the front is ALWAYS rude to me. I just moved here and have had a difficult time with my mail. She is always so rude and disrespectful. I dread going in there to get my mail! From now on my husband will go in with me. As Everytime I come out I'm always upset with how she has treated me. It's simply disappointing. Don't work in customer service if you have a bad attitude I have NEVER once EVER been rude or disrespectful to her. She treats me like I'm a child and is beyond rude.

I've been a resident of AP for over ten years now. Came back this summer after the winter away, and went to show my ID to check my mail; and apparently postal regulations have changed and they don't let you use your ID to get your mail anymore. However, instead of saying so nicely, the person behind the counter said rudely 'that's against postal regulations' and just TURNED HIS BACK ON ME!?!? There wasn't anyone there, and no reason he couldn't say nicely 'Sorry, regulations have changed and we can't do that anymore.' He was a real jerk for absolutely no reason. I did nothing in any way to indicate displeasure or make him uncomfortable. There's absolutely no reason to be so short and rude! That was incredibly disappointing, coming from my hometown USPS. SHEESH!!

I went in today to get a post office box. I have had really bad experiences with post office officials being extreme rude in the past in Seward. I was not looking forward to coming in. After all the bad things that went wrong the past two days it was refreshing to see a nice friendly face at the post office!

A buncha outta towners have moved into Ak to take advantage of the real estate, wildlife, etc. The result is that this office is inundated with online purchases from Amazon. So the whole small town courtesy thing has been thrown out the window. Disgruntled employees, etc.
