My only complaint is the prices seem fairly high for everything to be donated and resold. We went to walmart after this trip and I could buy everything similarly at walmart for the same prices. spent over $40 and did my best to look for the tag colors they had on sale for the day but there were slim options. Will return and won't forget our reusable bags!

This place is amazing as thrift stores go! I'm from Nevada and our thrift stores are catering to the rich, this is an actual thrift store with thrift store prices to help those on tight budgets meet everything from wardrobe needs, baby/kids clothes and toys, to household supplies and small furnishings.
BTW....one of the best book collections for all ages and general art decoration that I've seen in some time at any thrift store.

Staff is super friendly. Things are laid out in a very user friendly manner. Store is clean and well kept. Things are clean.

These guys are doing it right and filling a huge void for those on tight budgets. Keep up the good work!

Joining the chorus of bad reviews. This used to be my favorite thrift store growing up - great selection, amazing prices and friendly staff.

Now the place is a horror show: no dressing rooms, got yelled at for trying on clothes in the aisles, the return policy is awful (no store credit, can only be exchange for a single item of the same exact price). I’m not sure if this something corporate decided across the board or only at this location, but what a god awful shopping experience. Never again.

My experience is unique, but worth sharing still.
I live off the road system of Alaska. So when I'm traveling through Fairbanks or Anchorage I love to swing through the thrift stores. This was my first time stopping in at this particular VV. I grabbed a few items in a hurry my first day in town, only to discover none of them fit. So I went back the next day. I knew the no returns/only exchange policy but I didn't realize they had no fitting rooms (apparently, they did this during covid, but why four years later have they not returned them?). I was flying out that evening so I asked if there was any way I could try stuff on so that I wouldn't be taking home stuff I couldn't try on and have no way to return.
Nope.
So, not wanting to be stuck with clothes I don't need but still wanting my exchange to be used and not wasted, I grabbed some kids clothes and a few pairs of good winter gloves and left.
Only to find out when I got home that the best of the glove pairs was actually two left hands. ?

Overall, the experience was terrible. The prices are no longer thrift prices, most items were $10.99 and up.
To charge that much, not accept returns/offer refunds, and not offer fitting rooms is ridiculous.
I will not be shopping there again.

We love going to this place every once in awhile we find some really cool and awesome things ? the sales associates are always helpful and willing to help you find something if needed cashiers are always nice I give this place 5 stars and two thumbs up we highly recommend this place and we definitely will be returning ?

Every once in a while you can find a good deal, but this is the most expensive “thrift” store I have ever been to. $50 for a pot and $75 for a pair of jeans that were nwt. This isn’t a consignment store. They take DONATIONS and charge so much for them. Sad.

It used to be filled with great priced stuff. But recently I see things at store price. I went to buy pants today and saw a lot for $30, $40, even one pair for $50!! Dissapointing. Same when I looked at under shirt tank tops. I saw some for $10 which is a price I would expect to see new at Fred Myer. Still if you go through you can normally find some good things, but those things are becoming few and far between. It's a second hand store, it should have second hand prices even on name brand things. I can expect to pay a little more for name brand, but same price as new or close to- what is up?

Update:

Hasn't changed, maybe even worse. Bottle with a stopper on it almost 4 bucks. Can buy cheaper brand new. Shoes going for 35-50 bucks. I may as well go buy new. Again the prices don't reflect a second hand store in about 90% of the cases. I still can find some things cheap and worth it but I don't frequent here as I used to.

I found some great Sorel snow boots here for $30 and a hat + scarf for winter weather. My bags were delayed from the airport so I had to find some cheap replacements until my stuff got to Fairbanks from Seattle.

Anyways, its a pretty good store if you have time to really look through, you can find good branded gear 🙂
