Terrible transparency and customer service. From the time I placed the order to the time I received it was over a month. I first tried contacting customer service at the 2 week mark and they promised it was on back order, so will ship soon. It didn't, so I reached out again. They said any day now. After another week or so, it still hadn't shipped, so I was finally fed up and asked them to cancel the order. Guess what, radio silence from customer service until a shipment form was created. Then they said they couldn't start the return process as the shipper already picked up the box. Unfortunately, that seems like another lie as the tracking updates said "Awaiting shipment from sender" for several days. Once it was "Received" the package made its way as anybody would expect.

Purchased the auxiliary ballasts with accompanying hoses for a 2018 Nautique G23. Called in to tech support for some guidance. I was impressed with the product and with the support on installing the products they supplied. Thank you to all the staff.

Easy install. Super clean. Adds a ton of weight and is all at the push of a button now. Really excited about this upgrade. This in addition to 300 lbs of shot and a DIY teak swim deck lift. About $1000 in total ballast associated upgrades to my 2003 X30 and I’m just as happy with the end result as having a boat that costs twice as much.

I’m giving 3 stars because this order came quickly. I haven’t used the fat sac yet so cannot comment on it specifically. I used to get great customer service from Wakemakers but recently their customer service seems to have gone downhill. Very difficult to get a hold of someone. There are comments from others that support this. There was a delay on another order I made and it was impossible to get a status.

Wakemaker port bag failed and leaked the first summer I used it which was a bummer. Put the original factory fat sacs back in for the rest of the summer. The good news is they sent a replacement bag. Got the replacement in November so won’t know if this is good to go until next summer.
