I just ate at the new Agave Bandido at Waterside Place near Lakewood Ranch for the first time. It's a very nice place with a lot of color and atmosphere. They have booth seating and an indoor/outdoor bar with a large outdoor patio for many more tables. You are right along the water with a large lake beside you. Part of the outside is covered by a roof and the rest is open and lit by Edison bulb lighting. They have murals on the indoor walls and large glass lighting.
I enjoyed the food. I had one of the large selection of nachos for an appetizer. It was good sized and laid out well. I had one of the choices of chicken burrito for dinner. It was full and tasty and the red sauce it was served with was zesty and delicious. The plates they are laid out on are stylish.
They had a nice looking churro ice cream sandwich for dessert that l saw someone get, but l was too full to get one myself. All in all it was a good experience with friendly servers, fast service and an easy going atmosphere. Aerial and Amanda were nice and took good care of me.

This is a fantastic spot with great atmosphere, food, and drinks. Brianna, our bartender, is one of the best we’ve encountered in the area. Not only did she provide 5 star service but the drinks were smooth, delicious, and made perfectly. Very rare to find a bartender who can made complex drinks as well as she did. We also ordered an appetizer and dessert, both of which were very, very good. Both aesthetically pleasing as well as tasty. Service from everyone was prompt and personalized. This will definitely be one of our go-to spots.

This is a great place for families and couples who want to shop, wine and dine!! Lots of food options and great water views! - on Sundays we have the market during the day at 9am until 2pm. Lots of food vendors and food trucks. Come and get some fresh fruits and veggies.

There’s live music, kids face painting and lots of other activism for the whole family.

If the Sunday market isn’t your thing on Wednesday nights we have the night market this one is a lot of fun!! Come early around 6pm! Lots of food vendors and a DJ. All restaurants are open and serving drinks outside of their establishments!

I just love this up and coming area. The views are spectacular and I'm jealous of those who are building homes or living in the apartments/townhouses.

They sponsor a farmers market on Sundays filled with vendors offerings variety of services and products. Live music is available not only during this event but also various times throughout the week.

A few restaraunts and additional businesses are open at this time and many more are in the works to open soon. They even have a water taxi that will be available in the future.

It's a must visit spot!

Good place for a walk, family time. Nice playground for kids, also there are Lots of stores /restaurants nearby. Plenty of parking space unless there's a vendor fair going on.

If weather is good, I'd come here more often. Very relaxing.

Be really careful using your phone here. Everytime i sit down near the stage or other sitting areas to use my phone, it is being hacked/ compromised. Do not get on the public wifi either. Sarasota is not a secure place to rely on wifi anywhere. There is a pineapple / raspberry (google it) out here somewhere and no one seems to be smart enough to figure it out and find it...or they are willingly involved. You'll notice some guy show up and sit down near you minutes after you get on your phone for more than 5 minutes.

We’ve been to Agave 6+ times and every visit has been wonderful. Food is fantastic, service is great, you can tell they have worked out some of a kinks already from their first few weeks. I’ve ordered the fajitas, quesadilla, and burrito and all were good. Jenn was a fantastic server and Gia at the bar always makes the best drinks. Try the speakeasy upstairs!
