It’s Friday. They’re supposed to be open until 6. I stopped by at 3:00. There’s a sign that says they’ll be back by 2:30 or 3:30, I can’t tell. It’s now 3:42 and they’re still not open. I stopped by Pedro’s nearby and they’re also not open even though their hours say they are. I needed a bike part for the weekend that I was hoping to get from one of these shops, but they’re oddly not open when they say they are. Looks like a nice place, though. I wish I could go in. Plenty of parking, which is also nice.

1st day of my bike trip and I break a spoke on my wheel while on ca152. It was wavy and wobbly and barely rideable. Made it to watsonville cyclery where Jules fixed everything in time for me to get to my campsite before dark. Thank you Jules! A credit to watsonville and cyclists everywhere.

It’s a jewel of the community and the owner called Jules is the king. Not just because he’s a really good mechanic but because he’s courteous and listens to people ; my friends come all the way to santa cruz just to drop their bike off even though there’s at least a half dozen shops there because they know Jules is not only faster and less expensive, but he’s just not gonna sell you stuff you don’t need. Don’t waste your time with the other places, this is a shop for everyone from starting off on your first bike to your bike that’s worth more than your car.

The best place to bring your bike! I brought my bike here for servicing on a whim just because my preferred shop in SC was closed and man was this place miles beyond what I expected. The atmosphere of the shop was absolutely great, definitely a big departure from the other shops I've been to. The guy who also worked on my bike, Julian, was awesome as well. He was a very charismatic and professional person who did an outstanding job with installing my bike parts and overall was just a super responsive and great guy. My point is that this shop is great and the people that work there are great!
