The staff is always friendly, and they made exchanging a gift for something I actually needed easy. Unfortunately they didn’t have everything I needed this time. IMO, West Marine falls a bit short on selection in a lot of categories. They’ve got a pretty good selection of electronics, boat cleaning supplies, and accessories. Pretty limited on fishing gear, tackle and fishing line.

Is this place serious? The store is in total disarray, dozens of displays with -0- product and boxes strewn with a hodgepodge of items open and sitting on the floor. The two sales guys were nice and even helpful. But the senior managers need to be fired. I remember when West Marine was a serious place. No. Longer.

I walked around the store to kill some time, they seemed to have a bit of everything as I explored each aisle. I was never greeted by anyone so I am unsure how the service here would be, I would suggest they greet each and every customer that walks through their doors. People love to be acknowledged.

Poor store. Poor service and selection. Tried to return an online order once (brand new unused in packaging) and not only did the manager argue with me because "it was going to affect his numbers", but he even used profanity. Finally he did the return. With west marine prices we should get top notch service not a hassle. Some "hassle free return policy".

Been coming here for years to get my boating & Marine supplies. Ken is always very helpful and knowledgeable with the product lines. If they don’t have it in stock, they’ll expedite it for quick delivery. Great customer service. One last thing...you can’t go wrong with the extended warranty. It’s a bargain and when an item fails & needs replacement, you get a free one.

My husband and I made a purchase at the store and the item had expired. He went back to the store for an exchange and dealt with the store manager personally. He was extremely rude, no interpersonal skills and arrogant. After requesting an exchange, he himself the store manager out right told my husband "No", and also stated how do I know you made the purchase from this store. Please note I had the receipt in my hand and he still carried on in an unprofessional disgusting manner; stating, if you don't like his reply, you can take your business to the Pinecrest store. We are weekly customers and the type of service we experienced with the store manager was not professional and/or not expected. How can a leader display such bad and poor behavior especially when he manages his staff. They would do the same to others after such despicable behavior .
