I was doing some gardening prep for the spring and decided to check out the local favorite - Wilco Farm Store. Stepping inside I immediately felt transported to the countryside with aisles of fertilizers, seeds, and tools stretching as far as the eye could see.

Making my way to the vegetable seed section, I was amazed by the vast selection. It seemed like every heirloom tomato and pepper variety imaginable was accounted for. All were attractively displayed in their own individual packets with cultivation info clearly printed. I had a heck of a time narrowing down my choices!

In addition to a full garden center, Wilco also had a sizable greenhouse brimming with starter plants. The rows of little seedlings looked so healthy and happy under the grow lights. I walked out with trays of tomatoes, zinnias, and marigolds ready for transplanting.

Before checking out, I wandered the feed aisle for some supplies for my chickens. The bins of scratch grain, layer mash, and oyster shells were well labeled since this store caters to both hobby farms and 4H families.

At the registers, the friendly staff was happy to answer questions or point me to hard-to-find items. For a one-stop shop, Wilco’s prices were completely reasonable too. I can see why locals stay loyal to this bright and bountiful farm store - it truly has everything a gardener could need under one roof. Green thumbs up!

Wilco is always great! From baby chicks to stainless steel hardware to mount a trolling motor they have a huge selection of house/farm/ranch/vehicle goods. Friendly associates and reasonable prices make this store at the top of my list when I need something

My husband and I wanted to buy 2 chicks today to add to our 4 chicken family at home 🐔 I was very excited to pick them out.....BUT, unfortunately none today yet. Not till Wed/Thurs every week. So then I perused through the "chicken catalog"there and came across quite a few that I really liked👍😃 In between me looking through catalog one of the Wilco employees comes over and was talking to my husband and then I made a comment to her about the chicks and the lady walks over to me and looks at me and asked me,did you put one of the cedar raised boxes in the back of your pickup truck? I replied,no...she walks away. Then a few moments later my husband shows up cuz I thought he took off to go look at feed for the chicks. I asked him did you put one of the ceader boxes in the back of the pickup truck? He replied yes I did as a matter of fact. I told him well that lady just asked me about that so you better go and talk to her about that. I tried looking for that lady and couldn't find her anywhere. So I kept looking through the catalog. When I was done couldn't find my husband so I called him on his cell phone in the store. While all this is going on there is a bunch of more employees like almost like surrounding the area looking at me like I'm lying and trying to steal stuff from them or something. I kept trying to look for that lady and I couldn't find her anywhere. I was going to pull her aside and let her know that I had no idea that my husband even put that in the back of the pickup truck because I was in the store the whole time and apparently he went out of the store. Then I saw her at the cash registers and walked over to her to try n talk to her but she was busy with
other customers. So I just decided to leave with my husband because I was in a lot of pain with my lower back at the time. I just don't appreciate how she came up and asked me that question and then turned away as if I was lying to her. I had no idea that my husband had put that in the back of a pickup truck. So I honestly don't think I'm going to be going back there ever again because I did not like that discrimination at all whatsoever and I was a very nice customer so I just left with my husband and left this review.

Really nice and clean store. The staff were friendly and they did a good job at clipping my dogs nails. The staff even gave him a treat afterwards. The store has tools, paint, shoes, clothes, plants and more. I plan to go back here to get my dogs nails trimmed in the future.

Great pricing on veggie/plant starts. Wide variety of items from horse tack to tools, etc I always love walking around especially when they have baby chicks.

I went to this store (Commercial st Salem,OR) today to buy some fence posts for my grapes. This was my second visit to this store. I was looking for a little input from the guy that helped me at the check out regarding the diameter of the product and if there were other 4in options to suit my need. He was very short and rather rude that I was even asking any questions at all. So after being followed around the bird feeder section like I was gonna put one in my coat pocket, and spoke to like I was a bother, I will not return to this store. Taking my garden supply list back to Home Depot.

This is such a fun store. I mostly go here for pet food, but they just about everything you could new for your home or property, including clothes. The staff is friendly and helpful.
