This is not a boutique. It has wigs and merchandise strewn all over and torn wall paper. My merchandise was packaged in a brown paper bag. I felt like more of a burden than a client, especially when I was told that I was interrupting my fitter's lunch. I felt like they were trying to dump old merchandise on me. The prosthetic I was given felt heavy and I asked if they had a lighter model. The fitter said no. I went home and researched prosthetics on my own and found that newer models were available. I returned and said I wanted a newer model. The fitter gave me one that she said she wears. I went somewhere else for my compression sleeve and gauntlet sets and was treated warmly. I will not return to the Women's Health Boutique.

I usually don't take time to write reviews but Women's Health Boutique and specifically Pam have been an integral part in my after care as a Breast Cancer patient. From the very beginning, Pam has had my well-being in the forefront. I will never forget her explaining the importance of wearing the garment and getting a garment that is properly measured to my arm. I call her my "influencer". Not only is she a first-class professional but she is easy to talk to and makes you feel comfortable. I travel from Ocean Beach and it is a long drive but I refuse to change locations because of the professional treatment that I receive here.

It's NOT just for women... and PAM is amazing!
In the 10 years I have been managing post cancer treatment lymphedema, I've tried several places for custom compression garments and can say with confidence that Pam has greatly improved my quality of life. She is extremely (an understatement) knowledgeable, takes her time to ensure you get not just what you think you might need, but what is best for your health and comfort.
If you haven't been to see Pam, I highly recommend scheduling a consultation! While I've found that I can get my PRODUCTS closer to home and less expensive as well as with fewer billing issues, I CANNOT get the same level of care that I have received from Pam specifically anywhere else! Because of her, you almost can't even tell I have lymphedema! I hesitate to share this because when the world finds out about her I'll probably struggle to get appointments...lol! I do however, want to share my life changing appreciation for her... if she ever leaves WHB, I'm gonna have to follow her! 😀

I have been going to this location for years for custom lymphedema garments, and can say that Pam is one of the most important people in my life. Her knowledge and professionalism has assisted me in understanding and managing my condition, as well as preventing it from progressing.

Pam has made suggestions on adjustments that can be made as well as the different strength fabrics and we try them out until we get it right. I consider this of the utmost importance considering these garments are a 2nd skin.

On top of all this it is a pleasure to spend time with her and I can confidently say that she takes interest in my life and wellbeing as a person.

Please be wary of this location. They commit insurance fraud. My insurance approved and paid for two compression tanks tops and after MANY phone calls and "Oh we'll look into it" this store would only provide me one. After all we go through with breast cancer it's sad they would cheat out patients like this.
