Yes they are a little high but you can use your meal points at the store which helps a lot. They are convenient also. Whi wants to drive when you can just walk to the store.

Part and parcel of going to an overpriced college. The regular stores usually mark up the prices, but because the college has a monopoly on goods within walking distance they can mark up the price 5 fold. Probably the most simple example I can give of a group of grifters making the financial decisions that affect young, inexperienced men and women.
Example: buying a case of water (24 count of aquafina) would usually set you back $5-8 depending on where you live. Here it would cost you 42 dollars. If you're not locked into an egregious contract, or dying of dehydration, don't bother spending money here.

Xcetera! has a lot of stuff your can't get elsewhere on campus, but it will absolutely murder you with its prices. We're talking $6.50 for a gallon of milk here. We all hate Xcetera! but we all have to use it. The freshmen with no cars don't really have any other option, except ordering from Target online. Also a great way to blow away extra meal points at the end of the spring semester, but everybody does that and their supplies get tight during finals week.

Way too overpriced. Beef jerky is $10 when you can buy it at Walmart for as low as $4! A cup of cereal is $3.50 even though you can buy a box of cereal for even less than that elsewhere.
