I had an amazing experience at Yaya’s Island Mart! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel so welcome with their friendly smiles and warm greetings. They were incredibly helpful, going out of their way to assist me in finding everything I needed. Especially all the oils I need for my hair.

The selection here is top-notch—way better than I expected! They offer a wide variety of unique and high-quality items that you can’t always find at other stores. And the best part? The prices are so much better than Whole Foods! I was able to stock up on everything I needed without feeling like I overpaid.

Yaya’s Island Mart has definitely earned a new loyal customer. It’s a hidden gem, and I’ll be shopping here regularly from now on. Highly recommend!

This store offers a nice variety of authentic products, and the customer service is friendly.

Pros: There’s a very nice selection of Jamaican items that seem authentic.

Cons: I wish they would label their items better. Most products don’t have prices, so you have to ask the staff. Last time I went, the clerk was on the phone, so I didn’t want to bother her and ended up with a surprising bill at checkout. I could’ve made better choices within my budget if prices were displayed.

Otherwise, it’s a nice store. I’ll go back but will probably just stick to the items I’ve bought before and already know the price unless they improve product labeling.

If your making your Caribbean cuisine for dinner and you looking for that secret ingredient, you can probably find it here. It's a small shop and very few parking but in this plaza you can walk in, get your hair done, pick up lunch, then stop at Yaya's and grab your items for dinner. They are very helpful!
