My favoriteee local drive thru coffee shop. I have been coming here since it was cool beans and it’s always a+. Iced lattes are creamy and macchiatos have a good espresso to sweetness ratio. I prefer YD over a chain drive through any day.

Here’s Mrs. Flip Out’s review on Yellow Dog Drive Thru: Yellow Dog Coffee in downtown Norman is one of my all-time favorite coffee places, so when I saw they opened a little drive-thru, I was so excited! I ordered my usual breve latte and it was as good as I remembered their coffee being in the past. I enjoyed this little detour through Norman to give the Yellow Dog drive thru a try!

Obviously good as there were 3 cars ahead of me. Barista suggested a Cool Bean Caramel Macchiato...great suggestion & glad I got a large, as I couldn't get enough. I'll be back to try other flavors.

I took a different route so I could stop by this place and get a local, independent coffee before hitting the road for a long trip. Goo-gal said they were open till 6pm but I have found Goo-gal to be wrong about such things several times in the past. I drove up and it looked dark, but hours posted outside also said they were open till 6pm. I peered in the windows and did not see anything - too dark. I wondered if maybe they had closed up early to go to the oh-you game. I stayed there a little while, feeling confused as to what to do next, when a lady opened the window. There WAS someone inside. She told me they would close in 15 minutes. I said, "That's what I was counting on - :)" So I ordered and quickly received a GREAT latte - very smooth taste - very easy on the stomach. It was worth the detour and moment of confusion.

From the reviews I thought service would have been way better. Lady was extremely rude because we ordered "too many drinks"! We ordered 5 and only got 4. May try again if she isn't working. Great coffee at a great price, that's if you get it all

The woman who works the Alameda location a lot is so hateful. Please get rid of her. My mom and I come every single day and this woman can’t stand it if you order more than one drink. She even lied to us today and said yellow dog dosent do cold foam. I get cold foam everyday ! I called her out and asked her why she is so hateful and she didn’t have an answer. Please we don’t want to go get coffee anymore because of her.

Gave them a few more shots a while after my first review, while they were Cool Beans. It's gotten worse. The lady who works here is so rude, that's if they're actually open when they say they are. 3 times I've came by this location, only to find it closed hours after their opening time, or closed early. And the lady who works here has a horrible attitude every morning. Always an attitude, always rushes, not friendly at all. Just avoid and go to Beanstalk or Starbucks.

While I have been a customer here since they opened way back when, the coffee has gone completely downhill recently. I never get the same thing twice. I always order the same thing, however it almost never tastes the same. Also, the last 3 times I've been through, they didn't even fill my cup all the way. I took a few weeks off from here and went to Starbucks. While I hate supporting a chain they get my drink right every time at every location and it's always full and tastes the same. Not a good look with Scooters opening about 50 ft away.

Best coffee in norman hands down! Happy hour falls right when I’m heading to work which is perfect! Service has always been amazing and quick!
