Incredible shop. I have found the mother load... Lol... I am a scale modeler and kitbasher so this was a wonderland of everything I could want to build my layout with. Customer service is phenomenal. The owner is amazing and has the knowledge. I will be returning for so many goodies. 😁 Thank you Mrs. Zitnick for your time to tell me about the products.

Nice small business with friendly staff. I edited the review because I forgot to mention the excellent customer service all staff provided. They took the time to listen to me and provided advise making sure I understood all. David was professional and polite. Customer Service second to none. I visit this store every other month and I always end up purchasing more than I attended to but that's no problem for me because I like this store a lot 🙂. I like the idea they have the yard sale where the have already assembled h.o. scale buildings and kits as well. The prices can't beat. The deal with all scales of model trains but h.o.is my favorite because it's the most detailed. The people are cool and I always find something I want whenever I come. I highly recommend anyone with small kids because you will find just about anything you'll want or need here. The also have nice layouts here as well. Hopefully they'll be around for years to come.

Stopped into the Train store today. The store is awesome. They had all of the parts I needed for my G scale models. My sister brought in some N rolling stuff for repair and parts. They did just exactly that with no charge. Gail is the bomb. I highly recommend this company

If you're a rail enthusiast who loves trains and model trains, then this shop is the spot for you. Back in December, I stopped by here to get my Polar Express set repaired after not having ran for 12 years due to the old transformer failing, and I must say, they did not disappoint when it came to their service as they were very dedicated to the job.

David, the counter clerk up front was a really nice man who's an avid train lover, he was even dressed for the job as a conductor which gave me a real chuckle. He and his team were very helpful when it came to knowing the mechanics of model trains, my old transformer would have costed an arm and a leg to get fixed considering the model didn't exist anymore, fortunately, I was able to get a brand new controller and transformer for a good deal on the spot.

They also patched up my train's old motor as the soundboard inside the tender was faded to the point having not been used for a while, they did an excellent job fixing it up and ensuring everything ran smoothly within a 2 week time frame which just goes to show how remarkably committed they are when it comes to good service. After finishing up with the necessary repairs, David offered us a lot of good deals from model village sets, new locomotives and tracks, scented smoke fluid drops and much more. I ended up buying a wonderful Christmas model village set and a charcoal scented smoke fluid drops, I'm haply everything paid off in the end all thanks to the magnificent crew of Zitnik Trains.

If you ever need help setting up a new model kit, repairing a train set or with whatever problems you have overall, Zitnik trains is your answer! I will definitely return sometime in the future if I need a new set or to repair my Polar Express again if need be. You can not miss this hidden store down the road, be sure to tell David I sent you if you see him.
